Some Jewish leaders and Christian scholars charge the movie, "The Passion of the Christ," could lead to an upsurge in anti-Semitism because of the way it portrays Jews and their role in Jesus' death.

Aware of those concerns, the Hate Crimes Unit supervisor, Inspector Dennis Blackman, ordered the 20 detectives under his command to see the film after it opened last week.

Sources said about half the cops in the unit have done so so far, viewing the movie during work hours. But brass softened the order to a request - that cops see the movie on their own time - after The Post began asking questions about the "Passionate" new assignment.

The cops' reviews, so far, are mixed. "It was beneficial to understand what all the hype was about," said one source.

A source said cops feared that someone who already held strong anti-Jewish views or was a religious zealot could be pushed over the edge by the graphically violent film, in which Jewish priests and a Jewish mob are shown hounding Jesus as he goes to his death. The sources said the unit has not seen an increase in anti-Semitic bias crimes since the movie opened Wednesday - although of the two incidents reported in that time, one arose from the controversy around the film.

In that incident, Rabbi Avi Weiss, a prominent Bronx rabbi, reported getting several hate-filled e-mails after he staged a rally protesting the movie.

Now, why on earth would U.S. Special Forces trained in Weapons of Mass Destruction be sent underground underneath the Iraqi Intelligence Command in Baghdad to search for an occult document? This strange story makes absolutely no sense, so we must seek other sense. For years, we have been warning readers that our government leaders are Illuminist to the core, and as such, are avid followers of the occult (Seminar 2: "America Determines The Flow of History").

Since our leaders are fully occult, their belief system is firmly founded upon the Kabbala (also spelled Cabala) and upon the Talmud. These mystic systems of thought stream through Judaism all the way back to the Babylonian Mystery Religion of nearly 4,000 years ago. In fact, during the 70 years of exile in Babylon, apostate Jewish priests studied the Babylonian satanic mysteries, and gave them a unique "Mystic Jewish" twist. These twisted, perverted beliefs eventually came back into Israel as a secret society. By the time Jesus began his ministry, this pre-Cabala Oral Tradition had fully captured the Jewish priesthood. Its leaders were the Pharisees and Sadducces! While the people believed these leaders to be most holy, Jesus knew their hearts and their secret worship of Lucifer through the Oral Traditions, later codified and called the Cabala!

It is a fact of history that the Pharisees hated Jesus so much that they hounded Him throughout His ministry and ultimately connived to have the Romans execute him on the cross, simply because they were filled with the hatred and rage of Satanism. Let us now return back to the Babylonian Talmud, trying to understand why our government is so interested in recovering an ancient manuscript of it. Let us listen to some facts about the Talmud.

"A study is needed to determine which came first, the Cabala or the Zohar, but we do know that they are the same, alleged to have existed from the time of Cain. It is apparent that the Talmud is steeped in the Cabala, and it is not the Torah which seems to get the Jews into trouble, but the Talmud ... All Christians realize that King Solomon fell deeply into idolatry because he was unduly influenced by some of his pagan wives; however, few of us really understand how deeply into paganism he did fall. Listen:

Satanists view King Solomon as one of the most powerful shamans in all history! This startling information brings us back to our picture, above, of President Bush posing for over 4 full minutes in front of the Illuminist Israeli flag. The Jewish citizen who was outraged, and upon whose comments NEWS1593 was written, summed up the situation well as we see it today.

In the above quote from Dr. Graham, we see that the Talmud is "steeped in the Cabala"! This fact means that the entire New World Order system is based upon the Babylonian Talmud! Now you can understand why we had sent WMD Special Forces deep underground to search for this ancient copy of the Babylonian Talmud.

One of the reasons we invaded Iraq was to seize control of the land where the Babylonian Mysteries began! You see, the Babylonian Talmud is the basis of the current Zionism that rules Israel today. Now that the Illuminati controls the land where the Babylonian Talmud began, the next area they want to control is Jerusalem generally and the Temple Mount specifically; only when they control the Temple Mount and dispose of the Dome of the Rock, can they re-build the Temple of Solomon, thus literally fulfilling the Legend of Hiram Abiff they have been practicing so many centuries. NOAHIDE LAWS -- CENTERPIECE TO THE BABYLONIAN TALMUD

One of the centerpieces of the ancient Babylonian Talmud is a set of laws entitled, the "Noahide Laws". I am sure very few of you have ever heard of these pagan laws, but they are quietly forming the basis of our laws as they are practiced today, and are just as quietly being set in place as International Law, awaiting the appearance of Antichrist, who will use these laws to impose the most terrible dictatorship this world has ever seen!

Now, how you may ask, is this set of Noahide Laws affecting the United States? On March 20, 1991 President Bush, Senior, signed into law a Congressional Joint Resolution entitled, "A Joint Resolution To Designate March 26, 1991, As Education Day, USA". The title seems so innocuous that no one would think twice about it if they happened to just see it; however, this law is very sinister in its implications. It is typical of the New World Order Planners to devise innocent sounding words, phrases, and titles to mask their true intentions.

Public Law 102-14 states emphatically that all civilization from the beginning has been based upon a set of laws entitled "The Seven Noahide Laws". I bet you did not know this, did you? You probably believed that the Holy Bible was the basis upon which civilization was based. What are "The Seven Noahide Laws" and from whence did they come? These seven supposed universal laws, according to the Encyclopedia Americana, p. 737, state that they are "a Jewish Talmudic designation for seven biblical laws given to Adam and to Noah before the revelation to Moses on Mt. Sinai and consequently, binding upon all mankind." Don Bell correctly reports that these laws originated from the mystic (and Satanic) Babylonian Talmud, which no Christian has ever accepted as inspired sacred Scripture. In fact, the Talmud is that collection of man-made interpretations of the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy) against which Jesus railed so intensely. The Talmud was taught as being equal with God's inspired Word, even though the practical effect of its teachings were so often the exact opposite of what God had intended.

However, the Encyclopedia Americana continues its explanation of the Noahide Laws, "Throughout the ages, scholars have viewed the Noahide Laws as a link between Judaism and Christianity, as universal norms of ethical conduct, as a basic concept of international law, or as a guarantee of fundamental human rights for all." This explanation leaves one to believe that both Jews and Gentiles are bound by these seven laws; however, Don Bell reports from Jewish sources that the Jew who lives according to the Torah is exempt from these seven laws. In other words, these seven Noahide Laws were meant for the Gentiles only!! They are meant to be a substitute for the Ten Commandments. At this point, we need to briefly list these seven Noahide Laws.

1. Thou shalt not engage in idol worship.
2. Thou shalt not blaspheme God.
3. Thou shalt not shed innocent blood of a human nor fetus nor ailing person who has a limited time to live.
4. Thou shalt not engage in bestial, incestuous, adulterous, or homosexual relations nor commit...rape.
5. Thou shalt not steal.
6. Thou shalt establish laws and courts of law to administer these laws, including the death penalty for those who kill, administered only if there is one testifying eyewitness (Note: The Jewish Law, found in Deuteronomy 17:6, requires the testimony of 2 or 3 witnesses before one can be executed. In fact, the last sentence of verse 6 specifically states, "...he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness". This should be our first clue that these seven Noahide Laws are nothing more than a clever counterfeit of God's Ten Commandments).
7. Thou shalt not be cruel to animals.

The penalty for violating any of these Noahide Laws is spelled out on page 1192 of the Encyclopedia Judaica, "... violation of any one of the seven laws subjects the Noahide to capital punishment by decapitation." Wow, in other words, if one person steps forward to accuse a Gentile of violating any one of these seven laws, that testimony alone would be enough to decapitate the accused. A person could be put to death for the flimsy accusation of being cruel to animals, and based on the lying testimony of one person!! Notice, there is no assumption of innocence until proven guilty, nor of the prosecution having to prove their case. No, on the accusation of one person, the accused may be legally decapitated.

Now that I have your attention, let us examine further Public Law 102-14, which set the Noahide Laws as the basis for International Law, (read United Nations) to which all American law must conform. This public law singles out one Jewish group for special honor, saying that they embody the principles of these Noahide Laws. This group is the ultra-orthodox Lubavitch Movement, known for its strict adherence to the smallest detail of the Talmud. This group believes their head Rabbi, the former Menachem Scheerson, is the prophesied Messiah, and are anxiously waiting for him to publicly proclaim his office.

This is such a small splinter religious group that very few Americans have ever heard of it; yet, the Congress and the President of the United States have declared in this law that this rabbi is "universally respected and revered" and that his Lubavitch movement has "fostered and promoted these seven Noahide Laws". Don Bell again sheds much light upon this Lubavitch Movement, when he quotes Rabbi Louis Finkelstein, the head of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 1943, writing in the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, "Pharisaism became Talmudism...the spirit of the ancient Pharisee survives unaltered. When the Jew studies the Talmud, he is actually repeating arguments used in the Palestinian academies." [Emphasis added]

In other words, the Talmudic Lubavitchers are reborn Pharisees. Many Pharisees secretly belonged to the Jewish occult group, the Oral Tradition later to be known as Cabal, -- Satanic through and through. We studied that the Jewish Cabal forms a most important foundational building block upon which the entire New World Order movement is based. Finally, we showed how these Pharisees could hate Jesus Christ so vehemently, even in the face of His tremendous miracles. We understood how Jesus possessed such hatred of the teachings and the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. Once we understand that the Pharisee of Jesus' day was involved in a Satanic secret society, we can understand how they could hate him so much. In this audio tape set, we studied how these Pharisees originated the Unpardonable Sin. They viewed the many supernatural miracles of Jesus and believed that He was able to accomplish these miracles because He was an Adept in the Egyptian Mysteries. He could, therefore, access the power of the occult. Jesus warned them not to ascribe His power to Satan, but they continued to do so, thus committing the Unpardonable Sin. To this day, secret societies continue to teach their members that Jesus could do His many miracles because He was an Adept in the occult.

The Pharisees also succeeded in killing Jesus Christ on the basis that He blasphemed God, which is Noahide Law # 2. Remember Jesus' words, in Matthew 10:24-25, that the disciples of the Master will be treated in just the same way as the Master has been treated. I wonder if this Scripture has any bearing upon this current situation? Public Law 102-14 sets the foundation for American and United Nations Law to be established in such a way as to uphold these Seven Noahide Laws. These seven laws are a counterfeit of the Ten Commandments, and are promoted by the Neo-Pharisee occult group, the Lubavitchers. Don Bell further states that the Lubavitchers are a "Mystic" group, thus signifying that they teach the Cabal as well as the Talmud. This revelation ties them directly into the secret societies of today which are powering the drive into the New World Order, i.e., the Illuminati, the Freemasons, and the Bilderberger Group, just to name a few. Thus, it would seem natural that these secret societies would look favorably upon a Mystic Jewish group, which has its active roots in the ancient Cabal, a group which is a soul-mate to today's secret societies.

EVIDENCES THE NOAHIDE LAWS ARE BEING ENFORCED RIGHT NOW

The way in which our laws regarding animals is being so twisted today can only be understood if you realize that the Noahide Law #7 is being enforced, albeit without the penalty of decapitation! Why would occultists be so concerned about "cruelty to animals" when they have no trouble slaughtering human beings through Abortion? Occultists believe that man is just an animal who has temporarily climbed up the Evolutionary Ladder higher and faster than other animals. Man is thus using his temporary advantage over all other animals in such a manner as to kill them, some species in such quantity as to cause extinction. Therefore, occultists for about 4,0000 years have been very anxious to protect these poor animals at risk!

Of course, Satan is behind this entire reasoning, possessing a hatred of mankind so great that, given any opportunity, he will slaughter man completely. Since man was created in the image of God, Satan has an everlasting hatred for us. Jesus warned, in Matthew 24 that, if He did not shorten the days, no human flesh would be left alive. This verse spells out perfectly the kind of hatred Satan has toward us.

This hatred finds new expression in the Noahide Laws.

Let us now briefly search out examples where animals have been given clear preference over human beings by our legal and governmental system.

NEWS BRIEF: "Another attack on private property, by Henry Lamb, WorldNetDaily, April 26, 2003.

"No law has wreaked as much havoc on private property rights as the Endangered Species Act. Radical environmental organizations have driven Congressional intent to new heights of absurdity: a tractor was arrested in California for murdering a kangaroo rat, and the tractor's owner driven out of business. In Klamath Basin, 1,400 farmers were deprived of their own water for more than a year, to ensure that an 'endangered' sucker fish didn't scrape bottom while swimming. The horror stories are endless, and each is another trophy in the showcases of the radical environmentalists."

As this WorldNetDaily article clearly states, "The horror stories are endless". Every time you hear of a seemingly ridiculous story where a person is paying an exorbitant price for some kind of a "cruelty" to an animal, do not pass it off merely as an assault on private property; even though private property is targeted for extinction in the coming New World Order, these instances where man pays a very high price because of some small action he has taken regarding an animal are probably rooted in Law #7 of the Noahide Law, forbidding cruelty to animals.

SETTING STAGE TO ENFORCE NOAHIDE LAWS #1 AND #2

As the world points toward Antichrist, who will claim to be the Jewish Messiah, and who will consciously set out to "fulfill" all Old Testament prophecies and Talmudic Messianic expectations [Peter Lemesurier, "The Armageddon Script"], we should not be too surprised to see the strong arm of Talmudic influence today. When we see such evidence, we should understand that this is just one sign of the soon appearance of Antichrist. Listen to this current news article for confirmation of this fact.

"WASHINGTON: A new law being proposed by Republican senators will serve prohibit criticism of Israel on American college campuses. The police-state-style "thought control" legislation is to be introduced by third-ranking Republican member of the U.S. Senate, conservative Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania. I believe this legislation is setting up the legal framework whereby Noahide Laws # 1 and #2 will be enforced in America. When this occurs, all Evangelical and Pentecostal Christian leaders who believe President George Bush, Junior, is a Born Again, genuine Christian, will be in for the shock of their lives!

After all, The Noahide Law is the Law of the Land, codified by Congress in "A Joint Resolution To Designate March 26, 1991, As Education Day, USA", and later signed by President Bush, Senior, as Public Law 102-14. Why shouldn't we expect our court system to begin a silent enforcement of at least a portion of these seven horrendous laws? All Noahide Laws can be easily used as a weapon against enemies of the state because only one witness is required for conviction, no legal defense before a judge and jury of one's peers is provided, and the sentence is forever -- guillotine!

BEHEADING AS FORETOLD IN REVELATION

Furthermore, is Satan setting the stage where Christians could be legally charged with violation of Noahide Law, Number 2, of blaspheming God? Certainly, our doctrine that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh would constitute "blasphemy against God", just as it did against Jesus. But, our punishment would be decapitation, a much more humane way to die than crucifixion. What does Scripture foretell as to the way in which true Christians will die in the Tribulation Period? Jesus reveals, in Revelation 20:4, that Christians in the Great Tribulation will be beheaded, i.e., decapitated, precisely the method proscribed by the Talmud. This is just one more instance in which the stage is apparently being set for the precise fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.

Time seems to be getting close to the End of the Age.

The Stumbling Block

In the Return of the King, the Oscar-studded film based on the Tolkien's fantasy, there is a touching and inspiring moment: at the lowest ebb of struggle, when the Sauron hordes pour in through the breached gates of Gondor, horns announce the arrival of the relieving force. Rohan is coming, and the looting Orks retreat from the City in disarray.

Such a rescue force came to the embattled people of the Middle East in the unexpected form of a film. This inspired creation of Mel Gibson broke the dangerous and immoral alliance between devout American Christians and their Jewish shepherds. Mel Gibson and his Passion of Christ may well have advanced the cause of justice and peace in Palestine more than we could possibly dream of. Incidentally, he succeeded in undermining the most dangerous heresy in the long history of Christianity: the right-wing Evangelicals, infatuation with Jews and Zionism. Now it is the time to recognise this victory and enjoy its fruits.

The Jewish establishment and its willing subjects carried out a perilous policy of encouraging the Clash of Civilisations, embodied in ideological and US military warfare against the Third World. For this reason, they promoted the concept of a Judaeo-Christian, Civilisation at war with the Muslims, with the Red-Brown, Russians, with the French and with traditional societies and forces. Mel Gibson and his powerful film opened the Second Front of this great struggle within the powerbase of the enemy -- in the US -- by exposing the lie at the very foundation of the Judaeo-Christian myth.

As St Paul prophesied, Christ turned out to be the "stumbling block for the Jewish advance. The Jewish leaders thought they secured the US, and that they could safely proceed with this war elsewhere. Their second target was Islam, the Middle East their battleground, and the trophy was to be the holiest shrine of Islam in Jerusalem: the Dome of the Rock, with the blazing golden letters inscribed by the Umayyad Caliphs that proclaim "Blessed is Jesus Christ, Blessed is the Day of His Nativity, and Blessed is the Day of His Resurrection.

Zionists formed an alliance with the misled Christian Conservatives, and the US troops took over Iraq and Afghanistan, while supporting the Israeli offensive against the native Palestinians in the Holy Land. Then came Mel Gibson, and their alliance fell apart. Thus, Christ indeed was our secret weapon against the Zionist takeover. I felt it for long time; ever since on Easter 2001 I referred to His Passion in context of Palestinian suffering, just to be immediately frozen out by mainstream Jewish pro-peace groups. Let us raise the banner of Christ, for it causes split amongst our adversaries.

Professor Patrick McNally wrote that the Judeo-Nazis repeated the error of German Nazis; they became over-extended by opening the Second Front. They could not help: they attacked Gibson and the American Christians, though their support was necessary for the Middle East takeover.

 

Sidney Blumenthal, an American Zionist Jew and a former senior adviser to President Clinton, wrote in the Guardian: The neocons and the theocons (conservative Christians) were bound together for different reasons: the neocons by foreign policy (read: support of Israel), the theocons by their continuing fundamentalist revolt against modernity (for modernity read: neo-liberalism). Enter Mel Gibson, sprinkling holy gasoline on the fires and blowing up the cultural contradictions of American conservatism.,[1] It frightened Jews, concludes Blumenthal, and therefore Bush must go.

In Israel, this understanding came first. Gershom Gorenberg wrote in the Jerusalem Report[2]:

That mood, along with the Intifada, has fertilized an alliance twinning Israeli right-wingers and some U.S. Jewish leaders with conservative Christians. The Passion should sober people up.

 

"By attacking The Passion, Jewish groups such as the Anti-Defamation League helped to publicize it. I don,t think they had a better option. To ignore a film in which Pilate is a softy and the Jews cry for Jesus, blood would be equivalent to pleading "no contest" to the West's oldest calumny. But the Passion affair underlines the absurdity of the romance between Jewish groups (including the ADL) and the Christian Right.

Gershom Gorenberg is right. This alliance of Christ-loving American Conservatives and Christ-hating Jewish leadership was absurd from the beginning. The Christians in the US, as elsewhere, belong to the traditional all-embracing faith of love to the poor and downtrodden. The Jewish establishment subscribes to the faith which is good for the rich and powerful Chosen People, whether Jews or godless Mammon worshippers. Their alliance was a peculiar quirk of history that brought mankind to the edge of the abyss.

As a last, bizarre stroke of this alliance, on March 5th, 2004, the Arab-bashing Pat Robertson appealed on his blasphemously-named Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), to the American Christians to join with Jews this year to celebrate the Festival of Purim. Those who answer his call will celebrate together with hundreds of followers and admirers of a fundamentalist American Jew, Baruch Goldstein, who slaughtered dozens of worshippers in the city of Abraham, Hebron on Purim in 1994. His burial place in Kiriyat Arba is the location for Purim celebrations for many Israeli Jews, reported a Jerusalem weekly Kol HaIr on March 5, 2004. It is probably the least-likely festival for a Christian to celebrate together with Jews. By his call, Robertson plainly presented his anti-Christian credentials. His enmity is not reserved for the Muslims only: Robertson also attacked Russia and accused this Christian nation of plotting the "gassing of Jews and Jewish children" which is a horrible blood libel against a country that has a Jewish Prime Minister. But his support for Zionist atrocities in Palestine would suffice for the viewers of Gibson's film to reject Robertson and his preaching of hate.

God knows, there are other Christian forces, and the enthusiastic welcome received by Gibson's film proves that they are the real majority. The Reverend Charles Carlson of www.whtt.org runs Project Straight Gate, which speaks against the war in Iraq and Palestine. On a recent pro-life demonstration they called upon their fellow-Americans to care about lives of Iraqi and Palestinian children as much as for the unborn children of America. Their signs read "Innocent Blood on Our Hands, Iraq - Gaza, and "Choose Peace, not War. They called upon "fellow Christ-followers to oppose successive slaughter in the Middle East. Americans are now among the victims of the war almost every day. But even when none of 'ours' are killed, they are being fashioned into assassins and brutal occupiers, which is not what most Christ-followers should desire for their children.[3]

Gibson's film expresses forebodings of the Second Coming. It brings greater awakening into Christian hearts in the Lent; it restores the almost-forgotten tradition of Passion Plays; it separates the lambs from the goats. Not only have Abe Foxman of ADL and Mervin Hier of Wiesenthal Centre exposed their hostility to Christ, but crypto-Zionist Michael Lerner of Tikkun sent his disciples to give away anti-Christian leaflets at the movie theatres. Lerner began as a peace-seeker, but soon turned out to be a Zionist Trojan horse in the peace camp.

On the other side, Mark Bruzonsky of MER, a longtime friend of Palestine, condemned the Jewish establishment's attempt "to relentlessly crucify Gibson for trying to tell the story as he knows it, or rather as he believes it, [as] in itself a kind of intellectual and political blasphemy. Rather Gibson should be thanked for standing his ground, making his movie, telling his story, and making us all ponder and think and feel... whether Jew, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, atheist... or just plain human. Our friend Gilad Atzmon published a strong essay supporting Gibson, while brave Jeff Blankfort of California wrote that it confirms the reality of Jewish control over Hollywood.

Indeed, this film unveiled the anti-Christian intentions of American Jewry. The New York Times reported that the chairmen of major studios said they would avoid working with Mr. Gibson because of The Passion of the Christ. One of them explained: "It doesn't matter what I say. It'll matter what I do. I will do something. I won't hire him. I won't support anything he's part of.[4]

 

Because they run Hollywood it is not strange that America produces anti-Christian films seeping with hatred for the poor, downtrodden, un-Chosen people, be it American rednecks or Arabs, Russians or Latin Americans. The US newspapers, too, gave vast coverage to the hostile positions of Jews on the subject of Passion, showing an incredible bias well known to us friends of Palestine.

Their fear and loathing shows that this film can change America; and therefore it can change the world. American Christians can recognise the urgent need to free their media from the deadly grip of Christ's enemies. They can attune their policies towards Christ, share their worldly goods with the needy, return their sons from overseas wars, turn their mighty arms industry into ploughshare makers to feed the hungry; reject Mammon; promote spirituality and be a good neighbour to all nations of the Earth.

Let them remember: the Passion of Christ is not a millennia-old event: even today, as I write, it is the funds and weapons sent by the US are helping the Jews to crucify Palestine. They besiege the Nativity town of Bethlehem and plot to destroy the Dome of the Rock with its benedictions of Christ. The horrors of the Passion presented by Mel Gibson are inflicted daily on the captive Palestinians. They are killed by the hundreds, tortured by the thousands and starved by the millions. People who support or ignore this persecution will never be able to wash their hands of their blood.

The nearest few months will show whether the American Conservative Christians care for Christ; whether they are an independent political power at all, or just an alibi-providing Gentile front for the Jewish policies; whether the only political swing possible in the US is that between pro-Likud Bush and pro-Labour Kerry. The US Constitution was a betrayal of the Declaration of Independence. Real patriots such as Patrick Henry, George Mason and a few others saw it as a blueprint for empire and fought it. The Bill of Rights was added at their insistence as a defense against the Constitution! Big Banker whores such as Hamilton and the Federalists didn't want any enumerated rights - they said "You must trust us and our promises to observe your rights." Henry said, "Not good enough - we need guarantees."

 

In 1976, the Sovereign Grand Commander of the 33rd Degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry, Henry C. Clausen, published a little book called "Masons Who Helped Shape Our Nation." On page 82, he writes: "Though free, we were not yet united [1783]. The loose Articles of Confederation did not provide a strong national government, common currency or consistent judicial system. Men of vision realized that another step must be taken if he weak Confederation of American States was to become a strong, unified nation. Again Freemasonry set the pattern in ideology and form. Since the Masonic federal system of organization was the only pattern for effective organization operating in each of the original Thirteen Colonies, it was natural that patriotic Brethren should turn to the organizational base of the Craft for a model. Clausen, an attorney, is naturally proud of the Constitution's Supreme Court, with Brother John Marshall the first Chief Justice, and the man who revealed the Masons' contempt for us all in his enunciation of "judicial review," which meant simply that the Supreme Court was the true power. Where is the check and balance on the Supreme Court?

 

Masons crave power and that's what they got with their seven Articles. They fought the Ten Articles of Amendment (the Bill of Rights) right up till December, 1791. They nullified their own Constitution in 1913 with the 17th Amendment. This provided for the direct election of Senators. The Constitution was a contract between the States and the People, the former represented by Senators appointed by State legislatures and the latter by Representatives elected popularly. When Senators became elected popularly, too, the States were no longer represented and the Constitution was rendered null and void. We have been under a sham government ever since.

 

The Constitution is a fraud on the people and should be abandoned. It has not protected us from civil or foreign wars, from inflation and federal corruption. It is in fact the engine of all these crimes, authorizing such racketeering as the private Federal Reserve Corporation and its collection agency, the IRS. The Bill of Rights was our great champion for many years but it, too, has collapsed because it is in conflict with the first Seven Articles of the US Constitution. The Supreme Court protects the Constitution but it does not protect the Bill of Rights.

 

The First Amendment has become a license for our natural enemies to corrupt our children and ourselves with the most vile pornography, which has nothing to do with the right to criticize the government.

 

The Second Amendment has just been declared null and void with a recent USSC decision, which paves the way for confiscation and martial law.

 

The Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments have been ripped up by the Patriot Act and the US Army's atrocities at Camp X-ray and other places.

 

The Seventh Amendment supposedly guarantees a jury for virtually any dispute over twenty dollars. Try bringing that up with a judge in traffic court these days.

 

The Eighth Amendment prohibits excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment. Has the Supreme Court or any federal court protected us against "jeopardy assessments and seizures," which steal all our money before trial so we can't even hire an attorney? What does the Supreme Court say about having foreign police torture us? It says that it's okay.

 

The Ninth and Tenth Amendments are not even recognized by the federal judges, who are mostly Freemasons.

 

Everything in the Bill of Rights was pretty much nullified by the Fourteenth Amendment, rammed through in the dictatorial aftermath of the Civil War, when the Southern States had no true legislatures. The Fourteenth Amendment made us all slaves and said that the public debt shall not be questioned!

 

We have been in the malevolent, deceptive hands of Freemasons from the very beginning of this country. They've had us waving their flag and praising their fraudulent Constitution all these bloody years while they steadily chipped away at the Bill of Rights so that today it is virtually non-existent.

 

The Declaration of Independence - the truly great instrument of human liberty - was rendered meaningless by the Masonic Federalists who provided for no such liberation in the Constitution, which was itself a dirty trick crafted in secrecy by delegates who met to modify the existing Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union Between the States. As mentioned previously, the Articles gave no power to the central government which the Masons craved. It purposely kept the central government weak.

 

The Freemasons wanted a central bank which must have a central government to enforce it. Henry Clausen, the head of Freemasonry in the '60s and '70s, said this in his book, Masons Who Helped Shape Our Nation (pp 14-16):

 

"The nation could either unify as one people or disintegrate into a loose federation of States. It was a critical question, the determination of which would set the pattern for the rest of our history. Once more, Freemasons were in pivotal positions working for a strong, united America.

 

"Second only to Washington and Franklin in this movement were Robert Morris and Alexander Hamilton. Often called 'The Banker of the Revolution,' Brother Morris, like Hamilton, realized that a national fiscal and economic system was necessary to hold the States together. First steps were made toward this when Morris, who had received a Masonic apron from Washington himself in 1778, was named Superintendent of Finance in 1781 and when the Bank of North America was opened in 1782. [sic] Original stockholders were Franklin, Jefferson, Hamilton, Monroe and Jay. The Bank clothed Washington's army and supplied enough confidence in the new Nation to win America international recognition. Hamilton - aide-de-camp to Washington in the Revolution, member of the Continental Congress, and first US Secretary of the Treasury - supported Morris, proposed extending the Bank into The First Bank of the United States and, with Washington's strong support, succeeded in this endeavor to establish America on a sound monetary basis.

 

"Without the combined financial genius of Brothers Morris and Hamilton, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention in 1787 may not have had the needed confidence to envision the creation of one binding Constitution to govern all the States. On this basis, however, Franklin could argue persuasively the combined political, military, economic and social benefits that the Constitution assured. Brother Robert Morris nominated [Brother] Washington who was unanimously elected president of the Convention. Thus he gave his tremendous prestige to the constitutional proposal.

 

"The significance of Freemasonry's influence on the Constitution cannot be overstated. Freemasons conceived, argued and ratified the immortal document and, ever since that historic Convention in Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Freemasons have given support to its preservation."

 

And now we can understand why. Hamilton's father's name was Levy, by the way. The central bank was the entire purpose of the Revolution from the Masons' position. It would not become the true dictatorial power with total control of interest and credit until 1913 because of intelligent resistance based on an understanding of money and credit by our true patriots up until that significant year.

 

Abraham Lincoln demonstrated that the Declaration of Independence was meaningless by waging bloody war on those who took the Declaration seriously. What the Confederates did was fully-authorized by the Declaration and their government was based on the original Articles of Confederation. All independence movements here and overseas are prohibited by the US government. The Declaration of Independence is considered by our government as a terrorist screed. Anyone who would invoke it is crushed, here and abroad.

Ann Catherine Emmerich (1774-1824) was noted for her visions of Christ and other mystic gifts.

Ann Catherine was born in Flamschen bei Coesfeld, Westphalia, Germany in 1774. Her family was poor but faith-filled.

From a young age, Ann Catherine wanted to be a nun. Her father opposed her entry into the monastery.

While a girl, Ann Catherine began to receive many spiritual gifts from God. When she became an adult, she sought entry into the religious life. Several communites would not accept her, but finally the Augustinian Canonesses at Agnetenberg received her into their convent.

Life in the convent was not easy for Ann Catherine. Some of nuns looked down on her because of the poverty of her family. Her health was poor. An accident in 1806 made it impossible for her to leave her room for the next six years.

During this time God continued to bless her with spiritual gifts. A few of the nuns, perhaps out of jealousy, looked upon Ann Catherine with suspicion and spread unkind gossip about her.

At the end of 1811, the convent where she lived was ordered suppressed. In 1812 Ann Catherine and some of the other sisters were living in Dulmen. There she would frequently become caught up in ecstatic prayer. Towards the end of 1812, she was given the marks of Christ's Passion on her body. She tried to hide these, but only succeeded for a while. Soon the other sisters noticed the stigmata and told their superiors.

An investigation followed, which concluded that the wounds were truly mystic phenomena and that Ann Catherine was indeed the recipient of many supernatural gifts.

She experienced many visions of Christ. It is, however, difficult to know the truth about many of these, since the main source of information in this regard is the writings of the poet Clemente Brentano, who exaggerated and embellished the facts.

Ann Catherine's health continued to grow worse. From 1813 to the time of her death on November 9, 1824, Ann Catherine was bedridden. She died in Dulman, where her remains are preserved.

In 2001 Ann Catherine Emmerich's practice of virtue was declared "heroic". Fernando Rojo Martínez, O.S.A., the Augustinian Postulator of Causes, oversees the progress of her cause for beatification and canonization.

Monica Bellucci - Europe's Italian porn star numero uno, chosen for the beautiful story of righteous Mary Magdelene.  She recently played Persephone, Greek goddess of hell, the Queen of America (the statue on top of the US Capitol).  In a film previous to The Passion, Monica starred in Irreversible, containing the sickest mix of blood, brutality and perversion ever presented to mainstream film; so perverse that hardened, non-Christian film critics walked out in droves in disgust, worldwide.  Director Gasper Noe is proud to be “king of the New Pornography” (brutal sex / arousing brutality), and says his goal was such extreme violence and sex that viewers would be physically sick.  He used stroboscopic sequences and subliminal infrasound that assaults the brain and wrenches the stomach, old Cold War psy-ops technology.  Noe glowed describing a screening he saw in Canne, France, where people around him passed out, vomited - 250 walked out during a nude, 10-minute, brutal Bellucci rape, and a long, insane smashing of a man's head until his brains spewed across the floor of a gay bar, while naked men cheered. Some required medical attention.  Porn star Monica and husband also perform intimate intercourse, in full frontal nudity, like a peep show in Thailand, shocking pro film critics, to which their reviews attest.  Monica herself says her performance in this film is “disturbing.”  Millions of Christian young people have now been exposed to hard-core porn by their new movie stars, as an Internet search of “Monica Bellucci” turns up over 100,000 porn sites.  Did chain-smoking Gibson & his Jesuits choose the God-mocking whore of Europe Intentionally?  My research says yes.

Rosalinda Celentano - Italian lesbian porn star, chosen by Mel, his Vatican team, and Jewish Cabalist Casting Director Shaila Rubin (who was only the second person known to have received an advance Passion script),  to play a bisexual satan.  Rosalinda -- chosen by the guidance of the “holy” spirit -- stars mostly in lesbian films.  Recently she starred in a sodomy film so despicable that it could only be shown in the US in select gay venues, such as Palm Springs International Film Festival and Los Angeles Outfest.  The English title was Diary Of A Male Porn Star.  A Desert Sun reviewer said it “unapologetically celebrates the joy of [gay] sex, the glories of Italian men and the diversity of family.”  In an earlier film, Le Donne Non Vogliono Piu, Rosalinda plays a lesbian who decides to allow a man in her sex group as a sperm producer, as all wanted a baby.  “Holy Spirit” material?  Or just normal Catholic fare al la Boston and the mess Luther discovered in Rome?  In any case, an Internet search again pulls up thousands of porn and gay sex sites.

Claudia Gerini - chosen by The Sun Cult to play Pontius Pilate's wife, is, you guessed it, an Italian porn star, with lesbian and gay film credits.  In her film La Vespa E La Regina (When Gods Meet), she plays a musician in a lesbian, 4-letter-word rock band.  She meets a gay man, and they decide to try sex with each other to fulfill a dying grandmother's wish.  Again, young viewers of The Passion who seek a fan club on the Internet will be immersed in porn and perversion.  So far, we have proven that this “inspired” film and “witnessing opportunity of a lifetime” contains a more perverse and pornographic cast than any mainstream movie in American history, bar none.  Next, we look at the Witchcraft and satanic symbols chosen by the Sun Cult directors.

Witchcraft and Satanism

James Caviezel - practician of witchcraft, chosen by Cabala, Vatican and Gibson to play a blasphemous Jesus in Passion.  Caviezel has gotten wealthy accepting money from Jesuit, Cabalistic Hollywood, based in “Los Angeles” (which means the “Hail Mary” part of the Rosary).  In return, he obeyed his “spirit guide” -- the Queen of Heaven -- and portrayed passionate lust and fornication on camera, opposite semi- or fully-nude Hollywood sex divas Jennifer Lopez, Ashley Judd, and Dagmara Dominczyk.  Caviezel admits worshipping, praying, bowing to and obeying an angelic being which is NOT Jesus.  For those who don't read the Bible, God calls this witchcraft in no uncertain terms.  Jim visits Medjugorje in Bosnia often to kneel before a statue of the Queen of Heaven, whom he “invited into his life” before being chosen for Passion. “The catharsis for me to play this role was through Medjugorje, through Gospa. In preparation, I used all that Medjugorje taught me.”  Oh.
This un-holy spirit “called” Jim to acting while in a theater watching Ghost, which portrays witches (mediums) helping evil people, dead and alive, to obtain heaven, bypassing Jesus.  The real Jesus said, “No man comes to the Father, but by me.”  This is the eternal test of witchcraft.  Caviezel, the “holy” spirit's choice?

Mel Gibson based “the most accurate Jesus film ever” on a pagan mystic (i.e. someone who prefers to listen to a spirit-being other than Jesus, forbidden as witchcraft throughout the Bible) named Anne Catherine Emmerich.  He carried numerous “holy” relics with him, including a patch of Emmerich's clothing.  Mel presents himself as a recovering alcoholic whose newfound righteousness moves him to condemn the Vatican as pagan, which he and his father believe has been ruled by Freemason popes since heretic-pope John XXIII (Roncalli) in 1958 -- Vatican II -- through John Paul II. (Freemasonry confirmed by Vatican insiders: Piers Compton, Malachi Martin, etc.  From Masonry's bible, Morals & Dogma, it is proven that Lucifer is god of the Lodge.  In Latin, Lucifer and Venus, the morning star, are interchangeable.)  Yet now the discerning among you have caught Mel Gibson in a lie.  For by his own admission (EWTN interview), the movie set was swarming with Jesuits.  The asst. producer was baptized personally by Pope John Paul II, and is Opus Dei, a demonic youth-recruiting brainwashing cult with thousands of complaints from brokenhearted parents in the US and worldwide.  His father is top brass in Opus Dei and the Pope's right-hand man.  The film's dialogue was written by a mocking Jesuit named William Fulco, a professor of ancient Mediterranean studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and a graduate of occultic Yale.  Believe me, the text which Americans cannot understand is replete with 4-letter words, deliberately false translations and mockery.  Make no mistake! Mel made this film under the full authority of the Secret Military Op known as the Society of Jesus, infamous for centuries for controlling the governments of the world, and for their demonic philosophy, “be all things to all men” in order to rule and control all men, adopting pagan gods in order to prevent the spread of Christianity in foreign lands... which got them banned by the Vatican and all European nations by 1773... and which Pope was immediately murdered.   Mel himself has Jesuit certification from Loyola Marymount.  Mel is a cognizant tool of Lucifer, to help the SJ fulfill its 450-year old plan to destroy American Christianity, and after a horrific Holocaust redux which will make the first one fade in importance, and thereafter rule the world by Luciferian Communism.  All Masonic orders, including Bush's Yale Skull and Bones, are under the Jesuits (or Jewish Cabala, whichever name you prefer), and all their efforts are engaged to this goal.

Secret Signs of Lucifer

Gibson & friends created a new national jewelry fad, THE NAIL.  As Jesuits, Mormons, Masons, Jewish Cabalists and Satanists know, “The Nail” is a not-so-secret code name for Satan, the Hebrew letter "V", pronounced “vav.” Lucifer is stating this film is his, and that through it he is conquering the Body of Christ (a correct assessment, as the Bible prophesied 2,000 years ago).   Hundreds of thousands of “Christians” now wear the mark of Lucifer not only permanently in their foreheads, but around their necks.  Amazing, isn't it?  This film delights in the brutal, systematic murder and death of Christ, as do all who display the “broken cross” with a mutilated Christ figure on it.  Ex Illuminati witches and priests can tell you what a cross with that body on it really means. Gibson insisted on personally driving THE NAIL (Lucifer) into the hand (power) of Christ.  When asked in a TV interview if that was his hand, he affirmed it, emphasizing, “Yes, that is my LEFT HAND.  In Cabala and Illuminism, “Left Hand” is another term for Lucifer.  This was also a coy satanic reference to The Left Hand Path, associated with the Church of Satan, and also meaning “religions which advocate more than one god.“ (Wikipedia).  In high-level occultism, the LEFT EYE means Lucifer (Blavatsky, et al).  Through most of the film, “Jesus” uses only the left eye, and the film producer, Mel Gibson's Icon Productions, uses the left eye of an icon of the Queen of Heaven.  (Icon Productions does not produce Christian films.)  The movie was released on ancient pagan “Ash Wednesday,” a pagan holiday pre-dating Jesus, beginning an ancient 40-day fast leading up to sexual human sacrifice rituals, and having absolutely nothing to do with Christianity or the Bible, again proving occultism of Gibson and this film.  Many people walked out of Ash services into Mel's satanic film, wearing the Mark of Cain (or Nimrod, Sun god, Suncross) on their foreheads, a suncross with 4 equal arms.  Doesn't this break your heart, dear reader?

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first... Through this film, we have seen how thousands of pastors, evangelists and ministries, and millions of professing Christians, have completely failed to heed God's Voice, proving also that they cannot discern the spirits, and that they are false prophets, blind leaders of the blind.  This is why this film is so important.  You have seen here, that most who use the name Christian are not Christian at all, for Jesus said, “My sheep hear my Voice.”  You have seen firsthand that pastors and ministries are following Lucifer, who appears as Jesus, i.e. as an angel of light, yet they all believe they are ministers and missionaries for God, with a correct understanding of the Gospel and the Bible.  Yet they are liars.  This is a heavy and very depressing truth, but a very valuable lesson for those who love God more than themselves.

In closing, there is one more thing to know:  that in the very severe hardship and horror about to come over America and the world (starting this year with a financial catastrophe), you must separate yourselves from these false churches and ministries.  If a missionary or pastor could not discern the very obvious fact that this film was from Lucifer, how will they lead you through the incredible deceptions coming in the next couple years?  Never in history has it been more important to “come out of Egypt, that you not partake in her curses.”  If you do not separate yourselves from these false Christians, you will come under the severe judgment and death (physical and spiritual) which God is ready to unleash on this blaphemous church.  These are the pastors and evangelists, who have preached the Freemasonry message of Billy Graham, that we must “just invite Jesus into our lives” but who cannot disern spirits, or sin, or the enemy, and who do not teach the second part of salvation, which is the complete, full, unconditional surrender of our will, our dreams, our daily decisions to God.   There are those who say, “If they are preaching Jesus, then it is okay.”  This is a lie of Lucifer as well.  THERE ARE MANY FALSE JESUS CHRISTS BEING TAUGHT, AND MANY FALSE GOSPELS.  The Jesus presented in The Passion will send many to hell through a false gospel!  Wake up, people! - don't you see what Lucifer is doing through America?  Lucifer's main job is building churches, not witch covens!  Don't you know what the obelisk and temple of Jupiter in Washington, D.C. mean?!  Don't you know that George Bush and Ashcroft are Luciferians dedicated to the destruction of the last remnant of true Christianity?  Every American Evangelical and Charismatic leader whose name is known is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and in bed with Lucifer!  I have a library full of evidence, but here, with this film, God is bypassing the books so that all the world can see that the American Christianity is a lie, and worse - it works for Lucifer.  Be very careful... most pastors and evangelists are very stubborn, determined people -- they tend to do things because they want to, because they have a vision, and the ability and will to make it happen... NOT because God asked them to, and NOT because each day they hear specific instructions.  These people are not humble before God, or before man.  They say a prayer each morning, then go out and follow the leading of their own corrupt heart.  God has sent false spirits to teach them... Is Mel Gibson a born-again Christian? What about the acting cast of his film production, “The Passion of the Christ”? Are they “unknown actors” as stated by Danae Dobson and Cal Thomas in their rave reviews of this Hollywood production?  The following profiles, which have been written by various authors, present a radically different perspective on the producer/director, actors and actresses of the “The Passion.”

Mel Gibson has, in fact, cast three hardcore pornography stars in major roles in this so-called “Christian” movie. Gibson’s choice of actresses is more evidence that this film is not about Jesus Christ, but a false Christ who is the consort of the Black Virgin, a Goddess figure whose decadent morals are symbolized by the Tarot card, Virgo:

I have had an unsettled feeling concerning Mel Gibson’s widely discussed upcoming movie "The Passion of the Christ". I have been receiving e-mails for the past year from one individual after another who have been singing the praises of this "historically accurate" and "brutally realistic" re-enactment of the last twelve hours of the life of Christ that culminates in His crucifixion on a Roman cross. One report after another has spoken of the stunned audiences left weeping and emotionally stirred after having watched a preview of this movie.

I have also read of the ringing endorsements of Christian leaders such as James Dobson, and hundreds of other well known and lesser known pastors, teachers and religious leaders. A large part of the church is being mobilized to attend this movie upon it’s release on February 25, 2004, and they are viewing this movie as a triumph for Christianity and a wonderful evangelistic tool.

Despite all this religious fervor and excitement I have felt very subdued in my own spirit, and I began to pray that God would give me His mind regarding this production. I have sensed the Spirit of Christ drawing me back from all that comes out of Hollywood during the past couple years, and I have stopped looking for religious meaning and inspiration in the movies currently being produced. Movies have become so highly leavened with foul language, sexual immorality, unrighteous attitudes and messages, and deceptive doctrines that it is impossible to try to glean something pure from the midst of the overwhelming corruption.

A couple years ago when the first of "The Matrix" movies came out I was excited by the message inherent in the movie, yet when I later discovered the Gnostic leanings of the movie’s creators I was repulsed and determined to have nothing more to do with the series. Just before the second movie was released I sent out an e-mail to those on the Heart4God mailing list in which I stated the following:

As I read the review of the new movie that is available at www.screenit.com, an excellent site to check the content of movies before viewing them, it is apparent that the trend of the next releases of this series of movies is toward greater profanity and a greatly heightened sexual content. As I considered this the Spirit spoke to me and told me that I was not to go and see this new movie that I might not pollute my own soul, and I felt an urgency to share this with others who might be influenced to see this movie due to the writing I had posted that detailed some of the spiritual symbolism of "The Matrix". The following Scriptures came to mind:

Psalms 101:3

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes...

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

II Corinthians 11:2-3

For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

As I have contemplated the value of these movies one thought has kept coming back. These movies are not pure, but they are a mixture of that which is holy and that which is profane. The movies contain an extraordinary amount of Scriptural and Christian references. They are filled with Biblical types and shadows. Yet they also contain many profane elements such as symbols from Eastern religions, profanity and sexual content that a saint should not set before his/her eyes. All of the good elements from the movies can be gained from a study of Scripture, and the movies themselves are not a necessary tool to gain understanding of what it is to be an overcomer in Christ. Knowing this, and understanding that God detests the mixing of the holy with the profane, I sense strongly that the Spirit is urging me, and I trust He will urge others as well, to avoid viewing the further releases of this series of movies.

Ezekiel 22:26

"Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean..."

Yahweh wanted to so very much impress upon His chosen people that He hates mixture of that which is holy and profane that He would not allow them to mix even those things that we would consider common.

Deuteronomy 22:9-11

"You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, or all the produce of the seed which you have sown and the increase of the vineyard will become defiled. You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together. You shall not wear a material mixed of wool and linen together."

If God showed concern even for these things, how much more is He concerned that we do not mix our spiritual truth with images of sexual immorality and profanity?

Even more recently my family and I were brought to a further straightening of our way in regard to movies. As a youth I had read the "Lord of the Rings" books by J.R.R. Tolkien, and I had been fascinated by the literary world he had created and it’s great struggle between good and evil. Many saints had been lauding this series of movies because it had neither profanity nor scenes of sexual immorality. Tracts had even been put out that spoke of seeing Christ in this series, and much was made of the faith of Tolkien and of his personal friendship with the Christian author C.S. Lewis.

Once more, however, that still small voice was urging me to take a further look at this series. In particular, the character of Gandalf, the benevolent, wise and powerful wizard was brought to my attention again and again. Both Tolkien and Lewis were citizens of England, and as such they were naturally influenced by the writings and legends of ancient England. Part of this legacy is the Arthurian legends that include the wizard Merlin as a central and important character. Even as Merlin is often portrayed in a benevolent way as a ward and counselor to King Arthur, so Gandalf is similarly related to Aragorn as he assists him in his ascent to the throne. C.S. Lewis even incorporated Merlin as a character in his space trilogy where we find him playing a central role in the book "That Hideous Strength".

Yet, just because history makes a people inclined to accept and relate strongly to images of benevolent conjurers, it does not mean that God shares this affinity. As I considered this matter I was led to the following Scriptures:

Leviticus 20:26-27

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I Yahweh am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto Yahweh: and because of these abominations Yahweh thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

God spoke through His servant Moses and said that "ALL that do these things are an abomination." Is it right then for man to say that not ALL are abominations, but that some are actually good? Do we not hear an echo of Satan’s very own words to Eve, "Indeed has God said... ALL who do these things are an abomination?"

But what harm does it do to watch a movie where a wizard is portrayed as a noble and heroic character? Measure by measure the resistance of a people is worn away until all manner of evil is embraced. I found it to be significant that at the same time Tolkien’s books were being made into blockbuster movies that the Harry Potter series of books was also being hungrily devoured by children leading to their own movies that were also highly popular. Harry Potter is a young student at the Hogwarts School of Wizardry, and whereas Tolkien was very sparing in depicting the actual workings of wizardry in his books, the author of the Harry Potter series is very detailed.

Millions of young minds have now been indoctrinated with favorable images of wizards and are being led into a free acceptance of those things in the occult realm that God calls an abomination. Little by little, through subtle compromises, society has been conditioned to accept darkness, and many saints have heralded these books and films as positive influences in the lives of the saints.

It seems that everything coming out of Hollywood in these days is tainted, but that should not be so surprising since the leaven of sin and decadence has had free course now for so many years. Perhaps one of the most abominable results of Hollywood’s influence has been her ability over time to lead the church to compromise her obedience to Christ. There was a time when the saints would not sit and listen to vulgar speech, nor watch things that were sexually impure. It was more important to them that they be found pleasing to God who said:

II Timothy 2:22

Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

Ephesians 5:3-5

But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Why am I disturbed that Mel Gibson is making a movie on the passion of Christ, and the entire church world seems to have jumped on his coattails? For one, the above Scripture states that "no immoral or impure person... has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God." Mel Gibson is an immoral and impure person. In the year 2000 he starred in the movie "What Women Want" where he played a character named Nick whose goal in life was to bed all the women his lustful heart desired. In reading the review of this movie at the following link: http://www.screenit.com/movies/2000/what_women_want.html, it is very apparent that this is a highly immoral movie filled with so much sexual impurity that the details fill a very lengthy portion of the page. To say that this movie is debauched and raunchy is to be very sparing. It is filled with an incredible amount of filth and Mel Gibson is right at the heart of all of it. I had considered including a portion of the description of this movie’s contents from the above link, but after reading what is in the movie I thought better of it.

The Scripture above also states that "there must be no filthiness and silly talk, and coarse jesting, which are not fitting...." This is exactly the kind of talk that has filled nearly all of Mel Gibson’s movies, from his debut movie "Mad Max" that was released in 1979, to the Lethal Weapon series of movies, and many that are more recent. In 1999 Gibson starred in the movie "Payback", and a reviewer of this movie had the following to say:

Although he's successfully played a wide range of characters throughout his career, actor Mel Gibson is probably best known for playing the tough hero character who pursues the villains, rights any number of purported wrongs and kills many of those responsible in the process.

Such characters have been cathartic favorites among moviegoers ever since light first made its way through that thin layer of celluloid and onto the silver screen. Whether he's taken care of aristocratic villains ("Braveheart"), any number of bad guys while in the guise of detective Riggs (the "Lethal Weapon" films), or fended off a bunch of post-apocalyptic punks (the "Mad Max/Road Warrior" series), Gibson has perfectly personified the character who "takes out the trash" in an audience pleasing fashion.

In playing such characters, however, Gibson never personifies the perfect hero. Quite the contrary, his characters are occasionally flawed and nearly always have a dark and edgy quality about them, as if they're only a step -- or misstep as it were -- away from becoming a bad guy themselves. That's what makes them -- and Gibson's performances -- so much fun to watch.

Well, now he's purposefully stepped across that line in playing Porter, the "bad guy as the hero" character in his latest film, "Payback."

The content review on the www.screenit.com website goes on to detail the usage of vulgar language in this movie, a large part of which is spoken through the mouth of Mel Gibson himself. Please bear with me as I paste in this section, for the issue being discussed is very serious and the saints must be made to understand the abomination that is being committed as such a profane and immoral person as Mel Gibson is positioning himself as an advocate of Jesus Christ while enlisting the support of Christian leaders everywhere in promoting his latest venture.

At least 38 "f" words (4 used with "mother" and 2 used sexually), 16 "s" words, 1 slang term using male genitals ("omitted"), 12 hells, 4 damns, 3 S.O.B.'s, 3 asses, 1 crap, and 8 uses of "Jesus," 4 of "G-damn," and 1 use each of "Christ," "Jesus Christ," "For God's sakes" and "Oh my God" as exclamations.

Lest you should think this is an aberration from Gibson’s usual fare, you only need check out the reviews of the "Lethal Weapon" series of movies, of which he has made four. I looked up just one of them and found that there were an identical number of uses of the "f" word, as this most vulgar of words that was once taboo was uttered 38 times in the space of a two hour movie. Also, lest you should think that Gibson has had a recent religious experience and has changed his ways, you should consider that in an interview concerning the movie "The Passion of the Christ" he stated that he has dreamed of making this movie for twelve years. This means that he was thinking of making the movie about Christ while he was filming his sexually debauched film "What Women Want", and also while he was filling his mouth with profanity in the making of a dozen other movies during this time.

Certain actors and actresses and other celebrity figures are often known for a particular genre of film, or a particular vice, and Satan has chosen certain ones to push the envelope of what is acceptable. Thus we see Madonna and Britney Spears pushing the limits of sexual propriety, as has Janet Jackson during the recent Super Bowl half-time show. Satan has his ‘anointed’ ones who are seeking to spread the darkness of his kingdom to greater depths. In this regard Mel Gibson has been a promoter of violence and vigilantism like no other actor.

Mel Gibson first burst on the scene with the "Mad Max" movies which were apocalyptic in nature and where violence and self-protection were the theme. He further pushed this theme with movies such as "Braveheart", and even in "We Were Solders". In the four movies of the "Lethal Weapon" series he played a rogue cop who excels in his violence. In the movie "Ransom" Gibson plays a wealthy father whose son is kidnapped, and when the police are unable to rescue his son in a timely manner he takes matters into his own hands. And of course there was "Payback", which along with "The Patriot" are all about revenge. There is nothing of godly character seen in these movies. There is no turning the other cheek, or giving place to wrath. The wrath and cruelty of Satan is displayed with great consistency by this veteran actor and director.

In a society that has gone mad with violence, the influence of Hollywood bears much of the blame. By glorifying violence, and violent means to gain vengeance or to take back what one has lost, Mel Gibson has been a leading evangelist of the kingdom of darkness to promote the spread of violence. How do any of these things qualify this man to make a film about the Christ? Christ was a Lamb that was silent before His accusers. He was meekly led to the slaughter when He could have called more than twelve legions of angels to deliver Him and to punish His persecutors?

The legacy of Mel Gibson has been sexual immorality, profanity, coarse jesting, extreme violence and vigilantism. All of these things have been brought into the homes of America and the nations of the world and have borne their foul fruit. These are not the works of the redeemed of the Lord. These are the works of Satan. The wise saint should then be extremely wary when a chief agent of Satan suddenly is seeking to cast himself as an evangelist of the kingdom of Light. Consider again the Scriptures that were found at the opening of this writing.

James 3:11-12

Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Nor can salt water produce fresh.

Luke 6:43-45

For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. For each tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.

What then is the agenda of Satan in releasing this film? I believe, and I think the Spirit bears witness, that the goal is to desensitize the masses to extreme, graphic violence. Mel Gibson has been a forerunner in the promotion of violence his entire career. Consider the description of the contents of the movie "Payback" which he made only four years ago. As with all things in Hollywood, the extremity of that depicted must reach greater heights (or depths) in order to shock a progressively desensitized people. The reviewer of this movie stated that Gibson crossed a line in this movie, and this was necessary in order to include more graphic scenes of violence. As you read the partial description of this violence, consider what Gibson could possibly do to top this. In the movie "The Passion of the Christ" Gibson has found a way to do exactly this, and in a way that will insure that a large portion of Christians will watch the movie and applaud him at the same time.

In the movie "Payback" Gibson played a character named Porter. This character was horribly beaten up and physically assaulted. Again, compare this to the depiction of Christ in the passion movie.

We see that someone has shot Porter in the back. Porter kicks open a door that then slams his wife into a wall. Porter and Val purposefully crash their car into one driven by some Asian men who are carrying a briefcase full of money. Those men are injured and/or killed and Val takes one of the wounded and repeatedly smashes his head onto the dashboard and then kicks him in the head. Porter's wife holds a gun on him and then shoots him several times. Val then walks up and kicks Porter in the head and the two leave him for dead. Porter grabs an Outfit delivery guy and throws him across the room. He then repeatedly punches this man when he won't talk, tears the man's nose-ring from his nostril, and then holds his gun to the man's forehead. Although we don't see the actual act, Porter wounds a henchman as we see the man whose head, neck and the top of his shirt are bloody. Reporting for some S&M (sadomasochism) with Val, Pearl, dressed in leather lingerie that shows some cleavage, smacks and punches Val who returns the same to her (which she erotically enjoys). Porter slams a flip-down counter top onto a bartender's hand to get him to comply with Porter's demands. Rosie states that Val can't see any of the Outfit's hookers because he's gotten violent with them in the past. Porter holds a gun on Val and then prepares to strike him, but Pearl stops him stating that she'll do it (for her erotic pleasure). We then see her hit, punch and kick Val several times (he hits her back but Porter stops him) as well as her twisting her foot quite hard onto his crotch. Porter finishes him off by kicking him in the face and we then hear Pearl whipping him. Some men purposefully run their car into Porter, knocking him down onto the street. The occupants then grab Porter, put him on the hood and threaten to use a switchblade on his crotch, but stop when the police arrive. Detective Hick's partner slaps Porter on the back of his head and Hicks then punches Porter several times. Val holds a gun on Rosie and then grabs her by the hair as he leads her through her place. Her dog then attacks Val, he shoots the dog (but we later see that it was only injured), she attacks him and he then strikes her and then picks her up from the floor with a firm grip around her neck. He then hits her with his handgun. Porter shoots a man in the shoulder, and then again in the knee as that man reaches for his other gun. He then steps down on the man's shoulder with a great deal of pressure to make him talk. Finally, he puts a pillow on the man's head and then shoots him through it, killing the man. A car explosion kills three people. Porter punches Carter's henchman, and kicks one in his head, rendering both unconscious. Porter shoots another man dead. We see another dead or unconscious person that Porter has killed/injured. Porter then holds his gun on other men and fires a shot through a suitcase one man is holding. A man holds a gun on Porter who then takes the gun from him and repeatedly slams his head against the glass divider in a cab. The driver then holds a shotgun on Porter. A van pulls up next to a car and the people inside open fire with machine guns, riddling two of the three people inside the car. Porter manages to get out and fires his handguns into the van, killing many of those inside. The driver, however, backs the van into Porter and drives him backwards into a bunch of boxes. Porter then shoots and kills several more people. A person knocks Porter unconscious and then slugs Pearl. Some men punch Porter and then use a mallet to smash several of his toes, one by one, trying to get him to talk (we only hear the impact, but do see his pained reaction). A large explosion damages a building, kills at least three people inside it, and wounds or kills.

Even as Satan has certain celebrities that are pushing public sexuality to new limits, he also has those who are pushing violence to greater extremes. Mel Gibson has from the beginning of his career starred and directed in violent movies. The Mad Max movies pushed the limits back in the late seventies and early eighties. The Lethal Weapon series continued to promote senseless violence, and they led eventually to the 1999 movie "Payback". Yet extremely violent movies, like those that are sexually graphic, can only corrupt and desensitize those who go to watch them. In the movie "The Passion of the Christ" Mel Gibson has found a way to do a movie that is non-stop violence and brutality from beginning to end, a violence so severe that many who have watched it have come away nauseated and emotionally disturbed for days. And he has also found a way to insure that many of those whom Satan wants to corrupt the most will watch it.

What is the effect of watching two hours of the most graphically violent and cruel behavior that men can inflict on a human being? At first there is emotional shock, and later there is emotional dullness. Like a man that has eaten so much salt that his taste buds can no longer detect small amounts of the spice, so those who sit through a viewing of such graphic violence will at first be moved to great emotional extremes, but later an insensitivity will set in and it will take even greater things to shock them next time.

I know there are those who will argue that a depiction of the passion of Christ will have positive merits, but do not be deceived, Mel Gibson has been a tool of Satan for one purpose, and that is to spread Satan’s own violent nature and make men, women and children everywhere less sensitive to acts of cruelty and physical violence. The leopard has not changed its spots.

I will not be taking my family to watch this brutally graphic movie directed by a master of violence. I will not subject them, or myself, to Mel Gibson’s vision of ultimate cruelty. We have the Scriptures, and we have the Spirit of God, which is something that Mel Gibson does not have (One of the fruits of the Spirit is gentleness, and the Spirit of God is peaceable and pure. These are qualities lacking in all of Gibson’s movies.) We shall know them by their fruit.

1.  It seems that one has had to star in a Dracula movie in order to qualify for casting as Mary or Mary Magdalene, since both Ms. Morgenstern and Ms. Bellucci were cast in Joe Chapelle's television special Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula (2000) and the American remake of Dracula (1992) respectively!

2.  Ms. Bellucci is not just a typical porn star, but perhaps the most vile in the history of mass-market movie-making.  Consider this excerpt from Steve Rhodes' (www.InternetReviews.com) review.  "Irreversible (co-starring Monica Bellucci) makes pure pornography look pretty appealing in comparison."  Consider also these excerpts from a press release from the Society for the Promotion of Community Standards (www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/PO0303/S00182.htm). 

"Premiered at last years Cannes Film Festival, 'Irreversible' proved so shocking that 250 people walked out, some needing medical attention" and (this movie is) "hard-core pornography."

"Ms. Bellucci insists that her father, who was at the premiere, enjoyed it. 'It was hard for him to watch, but he loved it', she said." 

This praise by Bellucci's father is staggering when one considers he witnessed her being raped and sodomized in this film for a full ten minutes without interruption!  I wonder what James Dobson's reaction would be if this was his daughter he was watching in "Irreversible", and who would also be playing the part of Mary Magdalene?  In effect, if he is endorsing The Passion of the Christ, he is endorsing it as if his daughter was Monica Bellucci (being, as he is, the head of Focus on the Family).

3.  You mentioned in The Passion of the Christ that "no one comes off looking 'good' - except Jesus" and/or the "Principal Figure". When one considers the impact that the Gnostic gospels, Alexandrian manuscripts, Dead Sea Scrolls and sundry pseudoepigraphica have had with respect to their influence and growing inclusion in modern Bible versions, one can begin to see another facet of the hidden agenda of this movie...that being that if the disciples abandoned Jesus in his hour of need, can they (with their feelings of guilt and despair) be trusted to give an accurate account in their writings about Jesus' ministry.  Thus also the rationale for the parenthetical treatment of Mark 16:9-20, which effectively counters those of us who would argue that this film does not depict the last twelve hours of Christ's life on earth.  (Thank you Danae Dobson, from the producers of The Passion, for parroting their promotional material.)

4.  Of all the movies that have ever been produced, this is the "Principal Candidate" for brainwashing believers with subliminal embeds.

Consider this quote from Mel Gibson concerning Satan:  "The woman we cast is very beautiful.  I didn't want the stereotypical devil with horns.  I don't believe that is how the devil presents himself/herself.  He/she is very seductive and doesn't put out signposts announcing who he/she is."  Now consider this bio of Monica Bellucci. 

"Film critics are quick to compare Monica Bellucci to previous Italian beauties, but she is her own brand of sultry icon.  With roles as a topless vampire in Bram Stoker's Dracula, a taciturn war widow in Malena (2000), a charmed courtesan in Le Pacte des Loups (Brotherhood of the Wolf) (2002), and a sci-fi vixen in the Matrix sequels (2003), Bellucci has proved to be a bold blend of earthy and ethereal, actress and star...Bellucci went on to star as the seductive Queen of the Nile in the comic book adaptation Asterix & Obelisk: Mission Cleopatra." 

This sounds to me like Gibson is describing Monica Bellucci, does it not?  But she plays Mary Magdalene, not Satan!  Or does she?  Can a rotten tree produce good fruit?  Let's briefly look at four of Bellucci's previous movie roles.  As already noted above, she played Dracula's (topless) bride in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992).  In Malena, Bellucci plays a voluptuous bride, whose husband has left for the war, and who becomes an object of lust by the village boys and men alike. "As Malena's fortunes, and those of Italy, fall, she dyes her hair blond and whores herself to Nazi officers."  In Brotherhood of the Wolf, she plays a supporting role with her actor/husband Vincent Cassel in a movie about "a mysterious werewolf terrorizing rural France". 

In Irreversible (2002), she stars with her husband in a movie "with two of the most horrific scenes in cinematic history", according to film critic Steve Rhodes.  Rhodes, among other things, says that "Irreversible makes pure pornography look pretty appealing in comparison" and "nothing in this sleazy film is worthwhile".  See www.InternetReviews.com.  In the movie's "big" scene, Bellucci's character is raped and sodomized with a knife at her throat with almost no editing or camera movement for between five and ten minutes, depending on which reviewer is being cited.  Bellucci is on record as insisting that her father, who was at the premiere, enjoyed it.  "It was hard for him to watch, but he loved it", she said. 

 

I wonder what James Dobson's reaction would be if it was his daughter he was watching in the role of Mary Magdalene, and then was given a video of Irreversible, where he would see her raped and sodomized in graphic detail?  By endorsing this movie, along with his daughter, he has destroyed all pretence of a focus on the family.  Jack Graham, Billy Graham, and all the other "leaders" who have endorsed this Hollywood/Catholic production and thus assured that their coffers will continue to overflow should heed the words of the true Jesus Christ (not the Hollywood/Catholic Icon):  "Because thou sayest I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and annoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  (Revelation 3:17-19, Authorized Version).

The script consists almost entirely of expletives directed against homosexuals and women, and a scene in which Italian actress Monica Bellucci is raped lasts a horrifying 10 minutes. Shown anti-chronologically -- the violent conclusion first followed by sequences taking the viewer back through events -- the film delivers a stomach-churning opening punch set in 'Rectum,' a sado-masochist gay club.

“Fire wardens had to administer oxygen to 20 people (at the Cannes Festival) who fainted during the film - which includes a 10-minute depiction of sodomy and also contains graphic scenes of rape and murder. MAIA MORGENSTERN (MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS)

Maia Morgenstern fares somewhat better than Bellucci in her bio, but I'm wondering if an appearance in a Dracula remake is a prerequisite to playing a starring female role in The Passion of the Christ, as we are told that Morgenstern appeared in Dark Prince:The True Story of Dracula (2000).  Let's briefly consider Ms. Morenstern's words as quoted in the trailer on the official movie website, those being that "she did her best film work prior to the Passion of the Christ in...The Oak Tree (1992) and Witman fiuk (Witman Brothers) (1997)".  According to a press release from the International Film Festival at Rotterdam, Witman fiuk is "a kind of Freudian case-study in the land of Dracula".  "Their (the two brothers') cold mother (played by Maia Morgenstern) is hardly affected by the death of her husband and she soon has a lover.  The boys are meanwhile obsessed by the death.  They pay nocturnal visits to their father's grave and start to dissect animals.  At school, their rather strange behaviour leads to reprisals by other pupils.  When the elder brother Janos meets the pretty young prostitute Iren, she becomes the new object of obsession."  Is this the "best film work" that groomed Morgenstern for her role as the mother of Jesus Christ?  One cringes at the thought! 

CLAUDIA GERINI (WIFE OF PONTIUS PILATE)

Claudia Gerini, until her minor role in Under The Tuscan Sun (2003), was virtually unknown to North American audiences, appearing mostly in movie and television productions in Italy.  Gerini, who plays Pilate's wife in The Passion of the Christ, fits in well alongside fellow caste members Monica Bellucci (Mary Magdalene) and Maia Morgenstern (Jesus' mother Mary).  Why?  Because, like Bellucci, she is a big favourite on pornographic web sites!  As a matter of fact, many of the pictures in these photo galleries are more graphic than Bellucci's, and leave nothing to the imagination.  Clicking through the list of websites that come up through a search engine, one is transfixed by the array of pornographic pop-ups that appear faster than ducks in a shooting gallery.  We are told in a mini bio that "her parents, young employees, had liberal ideas". Judging by their daughter's graphic photo galleries, these ideas affected (and infected) Claudia profoundly.  She married her manager, Alessandro Enginoli, in 2002.

When I discussed this version of Satan during the Garden of Gethsemane portion, I said that we would discuss a time in the movie in which Satan was definitely fulfilling a feminine role. Listen to how this scene plays out.

“During the time when Jesus was being flogged by Pilate's professional torturers, a considerable crowd gathered. The Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene had pressed to the front, when the Virgin carefully watched every detail, aiding Jesus with her spiritual strength when he got especially low. The camera suddenly panned to the opposite side of the crowd. The female Satan was carefully winding her way through the crowd, looking very menacing; she passed behind the back of the Roman officer in charge of the flagellation. Like the Virgin Mary, this female Satan was wearing black, but without the white linen that denoted a nun's habit.

“Suddenly, as this female Satan moved away from behind the officer, you could see that she was carrying a very large, white, almost-albino child. Clearly, this female Satan was depicting a Virgin Mother and Divine Child. On the one side of the crowd, the Virgin Mary was contemplating her Divine Child, Jesus. This female Satan was obviously being pictured here as the opposite of the Virgin Mary, which would make her Divine Child the opposite of Jesus, whom the Bible calls Antichrist.

“The message can be no other. Now, why was an Antichrist scene included in this movie which was created to be consistent with the four Gospels? This scene is most definitely not Biblical and as far as I know, is not Catholic. Therefore, why was it included? Frankly, I do not know for certain. But, the world is hurtling toward the fulfillment of prophecy relating to the End of the Age and the appearance of Antichrist. We can see that Jesus is near, 'even at the doors'. Was the inclusion of this Virgin Satanic Mother and her Divine (Antichrist) Child meant to signify that the appearance of the Antichrist is near, even at the doors?”

Who are Mary Agreda of Spain and Anne Catherine Emmerich of France?

In addition to the four New Testament Gospel accounts of Jesus' crucifixion, Gibson is said to have based his film "The Passion" on the writings of these two nuns.

Mary Agreda was a 17th century Franciscan nun who is said to have had visions -- or a rapture -- in which God and angels revealed teachings to her. Her writings are contained in the book "The Mystical City." She is also called "the Blue Nun" and is said to have achieved what was then called "bilocation," which means she somehow traveled from her native Spain to spread the word of God to Native Americans on the North American continent.

In the early part of the 19th century, Augustinian nun Anne Catherine Emmerich, known for what would now be described as spiritually inspired psychic powers for predicting future events and diagnosing people's illnesses, is said to have developed stigmata on her hands, feet and head. With the completion of Benavides’ inquiry, Mary’s visitations to the Native Americans who knew her as the Lady in Blue drew to a close.  But what took place after the inquiry is nevertheless relevant to interpreting her seventeenth-century cloistered life in its totality and for its contribution to American history.
 

As it happened, soon after Benavides' departure from the town of Agreda, the Mother Abbess' administrative position at the convent came up for renewal.  Since she had always dreaded this responsibility, she begged to be released from it.  Undoubtedly, she had been assured that Benavides' his staff of workers in New Mexico would be increased and that there would be no need for further assistance from her.  It is altogether possible that she may have been glad to see the end to that distressing period when she had suffered from the criticism of her companion sisters as well as from some of her superiors who looked askance upon her trances, levitations, and manifestations of preternatural activity.

In 1627, two years after becoming abbess, she had had an experience that convinced her she was being called to write the biography of the Virgin Mother.  She felt incapable of the task because of her lack of education, and therefore was reluctant to accept the assignment.  Nevertheless, under her vow of obedience, she had no choice but to acquiesce.

From what she wrote about her American teleportations, her paranormal activities were known to have exhausted her.  For this reason she may have felt physically incapable of continuing her missionary work in America while at the same time administering the affairs of her convent in Spain, and writing the voluminous work.  It must have been a relief, then, when the apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Julius Rospliogse, refused to ask for the dispensation the Church in Rome required for one so young to be an abbess.  She was happy to serve the convent simply as a nun from 1632 to 1635, but did have to resume the burdensome office of superioress again at the end of this three year rest and continued in that capacity until her death in 1665.

Father Francis Andrea de la Torre was her father confessor during this period and two years later, in 1637, he judged she had grown to such spiritual awareness she should begin writing the long biography.  This she accomplished, writing it in three parts, a task that took her eight years to complete.

When King Philip IV of Spain heard about her City of God, he asked the Mother Abbess for a copy.  She demurred, he persisted, and then she relented.  The Reverend de la Torre, who was her father confessor at the time, keeping the matter a secret, supplied him with a copy.  Philip submitted it to several eminent theologians who praised it so extravagantly that the King then asked Mother Agreda to become his advisor, not only in matters of his soul, but also of his State.  For the next twenty-two years the two were to correspond daily, with Philip writing his questions on the left-hand side of the page, and the saintly nun giving her solutions to his problems on the blank, right-hand portion.  These letters are extant today, although as yet not translated into English.  To read them is to realize that Mother Agreda was a woman of intellectual capacity as well as of extensive psychic ability.

Before the City of God was published, Father de la Torre was sent to Toledo on a special assignment, and while he was there, another spiritual director was placed in charge of Mother Agreda.  When the new director learned of her having written the Mystical City of God, he ordered her to burn it, saying that a woman was not supposed to write on such sublime matters.  The Mother Abbess, under obedience, complied with the harsh request, and the manuscript that had required eight years of painstaking effort went up in smoke.  When Father de la Torre returned to resume his direction over her spiritual life, however, he reprimanded her for following an unjust order without having sought further guidance and issued her a new order, to rewrite the City of God.

It is understandable that Mother Agreda now became so ill that it was impossible to comply with the new command.  However, Father de la Torre did not press her; he was as prudent as he was kind.  Rather, he concentrated on helping her achieve a spiritual growth that would create in her both desire and energy to do what she had originally been called upon to do.  As Agreda later wrote in the introduction of one of the four volumes titled The Coronation, numerous persons whom she had respected discouraged the endeavor.  She, in fact, experienced so "many disturbances among the religious under her charge that her time was taken up in tending to the welfare of the community."(1)  She also added that she could not know “such interior peace as is necessary for and befitting the actual enlightenment and intelligence concerning the mysteries to be treated of."

Then, quite suddenly, Father de la Torre, after having been her spiritual director for twenty years, took sick and died, before Mother Agreda had undertaken the re-writing of her original work.  The confessor who had ordered the burning of the original manuscript was now reassigned as her permanent confessor.  Learning that she had other writings than The City of God, including the diary of the eleven-year missionary adventure in America, he ordered her to burn everything she had written.  All that was left from which to glean understanding of her highly-developed psychic and spiritual achievements was what Benavides had written of his investigation into her American activity and what she herself revealed in the later re-written Mystical City of God.  Although this was an impressive documentation of her spiritual resources, the work did not provide a first-hand account of history’s most extensive paranormal travels, as had the diary written at the time of her journeys.  There was a saint in our own time, however, who teleported from Italy to the Americas--once to North America and once to South America--but not even Padre Pio, as far as is known, had Agreda's record of eleven years of continuous non-physical intercontinental transportation.  How unfortunate, then, that the diary of her North American experiences was lost to present-day psychic research.

It will be of interest, however, that Reverend de La Torre had kept the secret that Philip IV had a copy of the original manuscript of The Mystical City of God (but not the young Agreda’s diary) and that this manuscript was not discovered until recent years.  It is hoped that the finding of this evidence of her ability to so accurately rewrite the long work might be instrumental in having the Agreda cause for beatification and canonization reopened.  Certainly every writer realizes the miracle it was!  As it now stands, the Holy See, in 1778, issued a decree placing a perpetual silence on the cause of the canonization of the Venerable Mary of Jesus of Agreda.  In 1886, a process to remove this was discussed, but His Holiness, Pope Leo XIII, made a decision that no change was to be made of the decree.(2)

Agreda's newly-appointed director's term was short lived, however, and he died three years later.  Then the Mother Abbess was given a new and scholarly spiritual director in the person of the Reverend Father Andres de Fuenmajor, who was her Father Confessor for the rest of her life.

One of the first things Father Fuenmajor did was to renew the precept, given by Father de la Torre, to rewrite the biography of the Virgin Mother as well as her autobiography.  The re-writing of the Mystical City of God was accomplished.  But of the autobiography she only finished the chapters on her childhood and her early convent life.  Reading this unfinished story of her own life, as well as her other writings (as yet untranslated into English), provides a clear picture of both her psychic and spiritual natures from which to comprehend how the young Mary fought for physical strength, yet with a body so frail that the psychic self was able to gain control during the early years when she began her paranormal travels.  The meaning here is that the physical self at this period of her life could not dominate the psychic self.  This permitted the psyche to emerge, just as in her later years, when her psychic self could not dominate her spiritual self and there emerged the highly transcended, mystical self with which the holy woman has come to be identified.

Mother Agreda did not undertake the rewriting of the City of God until she had gone through what theologians call the "mystical death."  She described this experience as "an absolute death of the animal and terrestrial life and its renovation and transformation into a celestial and angelic state of existence."  During this time she was intuitively instructed, as she termed it, infused with knowledge or cosmically illuminated, as others describe it.  This made it possible for her to translate the most difficult Latin terms of theology into simple language that could be easily understood.  Since she was a girl from Spain's mountain country and without formal education, many theologians have been mystified at the high quality of her writing and have pronounced her ability as nothing short of miraculous.  She completed the second version of the four volumes in 1660--in only three years time and five years less than the first version had taken--and the amazing fact was that it followed inexplicably close to the manuscript King Philip IV had secretly retained, but which was not discovered for comparison until many years later.

The last five years of her life were lived in meditation and contemplation, during which time she reached what von Goerres called "the pinnacle of perfection in holiness."  She was now accepted as one of the great mystics in an age known as the "golden age of mysticism."

After Easter, 1665, she asked her superiors for permission to prepare for her death, which she told her sisters was imminent.  On the Monday before Pentecost, she called an assembly, although it had been her usual custom to hold these meetings on Friday.  She then gave advice to each nun, telling each that it would be the last chapter she would hold.  On Wednesday she was stricken with serious illness, and Pentecost Sunday she died.

Father Samaniego, her biographer, maintained it was more than a coincidence that all her superiors were assembled for a meeting in her province.  The Superior General of the Order of St. Francis was even present at her death, when other synchronistic happenings also came to light:  Jon Carillo, a teacher who frequently communicated with the Venerable Mary of Jesus, declared that at the moment she died he saw her ascending toward heaven, surrounded by a globe of light: and the Reverend Joseph Ximenez Samaniego relates that at the precise hour of her death she was also seen ascending into heaven by persons of eminent perfection and from several places far distant from Agreda.

Five years after her death the City of God, with its revelations of the inner soul, was published and immediately stirred up controversy in civil as well as religious circles.  One of the criticisms weighed against the work was that it declared the earth spherical, with poles at either end.  The first edition, in French, appeared about the year 1678.  It was inexact and contained many interpolations that drew an avalanche of violent attacks.  The Spanish Inquisition examined the City of God for fourteen years and placed it on the index of forbidden books for three months.  One of the Inquisition's charges was that since Agreda was uneducated the work had to be fraudulent and must have been a copy of someone else's writing.  Seven of the great universities in Spain and seventeen other universities and colleges in Europe hailed it enthusiastically; the Sorbonne, however, found considerable fault with it, because of views the book held which were judged to be Scotist-Franciscan.  Out of all the controversy, the book was finally confirmed in 1681, when Pope Innocent XI decreed that The Mystical City of God was to be freely circulated among the clergy and laity.  The work was further approved by Popes Alexander VIII, Clement IX, Benedict XIII, and Benedict XIV.  In more recent time, these approbations have been renewed by Popes Pius IX, Leo XII, and Pius XI.  Eventually, it became popular reading in Europe, and all the praises written of the work would fill a large volume.  No book other than the Bible has received so many imprimaturs.  There have been sixty editions of the work, in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Latin, Arabic, Greek, and Polish but no edition in English until the twentieth century.  The first English translation of the City of God was made directly from the original, authorized Spanish edition.  It was begun in 1902 and in 1912 it was finally printed in America in the four volumes presently available.(3)

It is altogether possible that Mary Agreda will, in the coming age, be as well known as she was in her own time, but not because she performed miracles, rather for what can be learned from her concerning the human personality and its extrasensory capacity for extending its awareness multi-dimensionally so as to embrace and experience the total universe as including psychic and spiritual as well as physical dimensions.  When that time arrives the world will be better able to appreciate her Native American "conquest of love" as one of the most noteworthy achievements of our American Colonial period.  Whatever historic importance may be given her teleportations from Spain to America, the significance for the twenty-first century is that she actually extended her personality into another age and culture, overcoming the barriers of time, space, and communication, and did it through the soul's implementation of love rather than through physical force or chemical and mechanical aide.

The tendency of the past two centuries, however, has been to reject the nun's somewhat bizarre means of travel since it was unexplainable according to the perception of the scientific thinking that has dominated these times.  In the years ahead, however, this may no longer be true.  There is as lively interest today in both psychic phenomena and mysticism, in all its varieties, as there was in Agreda's more spiritually-oriented century.  Certainly the story of Mary Agreda presents the challenge that it be investigated with an open mind.  Who knows what conclusion may be drawn when all the evidence is in?

From the iron age to the nuclear age, human beings have depended on their creative inventions to extend their human limitations.  Now, however, interest is shifting to the total human personality--to inner as well as outer capabilities.  And with this the perception of what is humanly possible is changing also.  During the past hundred years science has been striving to attain more power, luxury, and leisure, but this has led to a sense of anxiety rather than fulfillment.  What is coming to light is the soul’s need to be related to what is ultimately real--the infinite and the eternal.  Only then is life experienced as having meaning and purpose.  When Mary Agreda, as the Lady in Blue, ministered to the Native Americans throughout the 1620’s she discovered the secret that would be her legacy, that

Tom Wright says that Paul was the one teaching people to sing Jesus' music, a nice image. Nonetheless, the special uses this idea to turn to the conflict between Paul and James and Peter. This conflict is exaggerated. Paul was trumpeting what the church was also saying. There was initial debate on this question, but it was more quickly resolved than the special suggest. The solution even comes with James' favor that seals the deal, as Acts notes and as Paul Meier notes within the special.

It is correct to argue that the idea of salvation without circumcision was revolutionary in a Jewish context, but the point is that it was not Paul alone who was making the argument. As Witherington notes within the special, the "towering figures" came to agreement on the point. Yet the special returns to the conflict between Peter and Paul, a point that is raised Galatians. The timing of this dispute is itself disputed. Was it before the Council of Acts 15 where the final decision was made or not? Either way, this dispute was quickly resolved with no acrimony in the end.

The idea that Paul laid the foundation of the separation of Christianity from Judaism on his innovative point is another oversimplification, both in the source and the cause. It shows the one glaring omission in the special. There are issues about who and how one is related to God that are involved in the early Christian movement that the special does not focus upon, namely, the uniqueness of Jesus for Paul. Rather the special stays focused on how spirituality and people relate to each other as the key.

This is but one of two key elements in the movement. Who Jesus was, what he means, and what he calls for us to be before both God and humanity were a key parts of Paul's message. The special stays largely focused only on our relationship to each other, not on how one connects to God in summarizing Paul's message.

Eastern Temple Mount wall may collapse

The eastern wall of Jerusalem's Temple Mount is in danger of immediate collapse because of damage caused by the February 11 earthquake, a classified government report issued this week concludes.
The report, written by the Israel Antiquities Authority, has been distributed to senior ministers by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's military attache, Brig.-Gen. Yoav Galant, officials said Thursday.

The classified report, details of which were first published in Yediot Aharonot, says that the earthquake damaged the eastern wall of the Temple Mount to such an extent that sections of the wall are liable to cave in on the underground architectural support of the mount, known as Solomon's Stables.

The Antiquities Authority refused to comment on the report.

But officials confirmed Thursday that the report has been sent to a number of government ministers including Internal Security Minister Tzahi Hanegbi, Industry, Trade, and Labor Minister Ehud Olmert, Education Minister Limor Livnat, and Minister for Jerusalem and Diaspora Affairs Natan Sharansky.

The report has also been forwarded to the heads of the Shin Bet, Mossad, and to Israel Police Insp.-Gen. Shlomo Aharonishky, and Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz.

All of the recipients have been asked to forward their recommendations on the matter to the prime minister ahead of a planned meeting on the issue, expected shortly.

The report includes several documents prepared by officials in the Antiquities Authority, who suggest that the area in question be declared off-limits until repairs are carried out at the site.

New cracks and movements in the already fragile 2,000-year-old wall were discerned by archeologists following the February earthquake, the report states.

The earthquake, which measured 5 on the Richter scale, did not cause any serious injuries or damage.

Wakf (Islamic Trust) director Adnan Husseini on Thursday said that the report over damage to the wall caused by the earthquake was "incorrect." "We do not understand how such a report could be issued since there is no problem due to the earthquake," he said.

The report comes as a team of Jordanian engineers continues to carry out repair work on a separate bulge on the southern wall of the Temple Mount, adjacent to Solomon's Stables.

It was not clear Thursday if the Jordanians would be asked by Israel to repair the eastern wall as well.

In February, the head of the Jordanian team, Dr. Raief Najim, said that additional restoration work was needed in other areas, including the eastern wall.

Israeli archeologists say that the bulge on the southern wall was caused by the Wakf construction work at Solomon's Stables over the last decade, while a Jordanian report states that it was the result of the natural flow of rainwater over the centuries.

Israel maintains overall security of the site, while the Wakf is charged with day-to-day maintenance at the compound.

In the late 1990s, the Wakf turned Solomon's Stables into the largest mosque in the country, that can accommodate 30,000 worshipers. Its excavation caused extensive damage to antiquities at Judaism's holiest site, which were unearthed and then heaped onto a garbage dump.

Israeli archeologists from the Antiquities Authority have not been carrying out routine supervision at the site for more than three years, despite the reopening of the ancient compound to non-Muslims last year, due to concern over renewed Palestinian violence at the site.

The firemen manning the two fire trucks dispatched to the Western Wall on July 28, 1981 were still wondering what they were supposed to do there when they were suddenly told to return to the station. Yehuda Meir Getz, the rabbi of the Western Wall, had ordered the fire trucks and was also the one that hastily canceled the order after he discovered that all the firemen on the way to the Western Wall were Arabs. He feared that his plans - to dig under the foundations of the Dome of the Rock in order to find the site of the Holy of Holies, and the place where the Temple artifacts had been concealed - would be discovered too soon.

The firemen had been assigned a secondary role in the project: to pump out hundreds of cubic meters of muddy water from the huge tunnel, chiseled eastward. Getz, along with workers from the Religious Affairs Ministry, had cleared the opening secretly during work aimed at uncovering the full length of the Western Wall.

Rabbi Getz managed to keep the secret for only a few weeks. A violent confrontation broke out in the tunnel, which according to the Western Wall rabbi's calculations, led to Ein Itam: the spring through which impure priests went to immerse themselves on their way from Beit Hamoked on the Temple Mount outside the walls. The Muslims discovered the breach and dozens of them slid down through openings in the Temple Mount area to the tunnel located near the Western Wall plaza. Getz and the yeshiva students who were alerted to the site rushed to block the way of members of the Waqf (Muslim trust) with their bodies. At the end of a turbulent day, with the Temple Mount at the epicenter of international attention, then prime minister Menachem Begin, minister of police Yosef Burg and police commissioner Shlomo Ivstan ordered that the opening that had been made in the wall on the eastern side be resealed.

That was the only time since 1967 that governmental officials had tried to tunnel eastward underneath the Temple Mount. At the time, it was officially announced that the huge tunnel under the structure of the Dome of the Rock had been discovered by chance during preparation of a niche for a holy ark at the Western Wall. Only years later did two members of the committee appointed by the government to investigate the affair disclose that the story about the niche for a holy ark was merely a cover-up for the real story.

Archaeologist Meir Ben Dov and the coordinator of the ministerial committee for Jerusalem affairs, Ephraim Shilo, discovered that the tunnel had been opened deliberately, but in order to prevent public relations damage to the state, this essential finding was left out of the final conclusions of the report they authored. Years later, Rabbi Getz explained that he had been motivated by an intense desire to find the lost Temple artifacts, first and foremost the Ark of the Covenant.

A new book about Rabbi Getz makes new revelations about the affair. The author, Hila Volberstein, reveals that he was not alone in his plan to tunnel from the Western Wall eastward under the Temple Mount. He had a partner - Rafi Eitan, advisor on terrorism and security to three prime ministers (Menachem Begin, Yitzhak Shamir and Shimon Peres), who later gained fame as the man who recruited and handled Jonathan Pollard.

The book about Getz, who was involved extensively in kabbala and for whom the Western Wall tunnels were a second home, is being published almost eight years after his death. In the volume, which was commissioned by the family, Getz is described as he was: an enterprising man of many talents, a philanthropist (who gave charity in secret), a man with a spiritual approach to life, an army officer and a mystic both in action and dress - with a black robe and white headdress, a prayer book and Bible in his pocket and pistol on his hip. He was among the first to settle in the renewed Jewish Quarter after the Six-Day War. Of his 11 children, most live in Judea and Samaria. One son, Yair, was killed in Samaria in the mid-1980s when the car he was driving was hit by a truck driven by an Arab. Getz was convinced that he had been murdered for nationalistic reasons. Another son, Avner, was killed in the battle for the Old City in the Six-Day War.

Volberstein reveals extensive excerpts from Getz's diaries, just a small proportion of which had been made public before. She presents numerous testimonies, such as that of Naftali Kidron, formerly an engineer in the Religious Affairs Ministry, according to which the source of the rabbi's almost total devotion to the project to uncover the Western Wall was his intense desire to find the Temple artifacts.

Getz, who served for many years as rabbi of the Western Wall on behalf of the Religious Affairs Ministry, clung ardently to his plans to find the Temple artifacts, refusing to relinquish his program even after the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, advised him to stop. The Lubavitcher Rebbe warned Getz that anyone who found the Temple artifacts was placing his life in danger, although he did make it clear that finding the artifacts used in the Temple would bring Jewish redemption closer. Rabbi Getz, writes Volberstein, "decided to be the atonement for the Jewish people, to search for the Temple artifacts and to do whatever he could to speed up the redemption. However, he was waiting for the right moment to open the tunnels in the easterly direction."

Eitan's testimony

One of the most fascinating testimonies in the book is that of Eitan. "As the excavation of the tunnels progressed," says Eitan, "I met with Rabbi Getz almost daily. Together with him, I studied the structure of the Holy Temple and its dimensions. We drew conclusions as to the location of the Holy Temple and the Holy of Holies. When we arrived at the spot that according to our studies was supposed to be the gate through which the priests set out in order to immerse themselves, we assumed that if we made an opening in the wall to the east, we could move forward and eventually reach the Holy of Holies. But we waited for the right time to make the opening. We told no one about it because we preferred to keep the secret to ourselves, so that if - heaven forfend - it were discovered, the responsibility would not fall on the government or its leaders. That is why Begin, who knew about the excavations along the Western Wall, did not know about our plans to make the opening to the east."

Eitan reveals that the opening was planned at first for the floor under the level where the excavation to uncover the Western Wall was being carried out at the time, "and in this way, it was not supposed to be discovered at all. We planned to go in, see the tunnels and move ahead in the direction in which we estimated that the foundations of the Holy of Holies would be found. We were of the view that without heavy tools, using a delicate chisel, we could chip away at the soft limestone walls. We thought that in that way, we could advance quietly and secretly to discover the hiding place where the priests had concealed the Temple artifacts and arrive at the spot just under the Holy of Holies, the place where the Ark of the Covenant was hidden."

Eitan was not the only one privy to Getz's secret. A number of Religious Affairs Ministry officials and students of the rabbi were also aware of his plan. He consulted with Avraham Hanan, described in the book as a man "with supernatural powers" of insight. Many years ago, before the archaeologists had drawn their maps, Hanan marked on a map the route of a tunnel from the direction of the southern wall area, northwest to Solomon's Stables inside the Temple Mount. The excavators indeed discovered a tunnel along the route that Hanan had marked, but refrained from entering the Temple Mount. When Getz began to serve as rabbi of the Western Wall and the project reached a more advanced stage, Hanan designated the spot where in his view the Temple artifacts were buried. Getz was convinced that the Ark of the Covenant was buried in the same spot.

Catalyst for the Messiah

The Ark of the Covenant, which has not been seen since the destruction of the First Temple, was perhaps the most important of artifacts in the Temple, defined as the principal seat of the divine spirit. Some believe that it is still hidden in the tunnels excavated by King Solomon under the Holy of Holies. The tractate Shekalim of the Mishna (oral Torah, Traditions of the pharisees)  states: "There once was a priest (in the time of the Second Temple) who while working in the Temple noticed that the part of the floor was different from other parts (and realized that at that spot there must be an entrance to a subterranean passage). He told another priest, but barely had he finished speaking before his soul expired, and it was clearly known that that was where the Ark was hidden."

Jewish sources say that the Ark will be discovered a short time before the coming of the Messiah.(Moshiach ben Satan that son of Perdition "Revealed)  Nachmanides wrote that the Ark would be discovered "during the construction of the Temple or in future wars before the coming of the Messiah king." Rabbi Getz also believed that finding the Ark and/or Temple artifacts would serve as a catalyst for the coming of the Messiah. At first, he sought only to find the place at which the altar had stood, thousands of years ago.

The rabbi had two signs for the location of the site of the altar. The first was that the altar had been placed on level ground. However, the Temple Mount is made up of numerous tunnels, one atop another. If level ground, different from the rest of the surrounding ground, could be found, it would serve as proof of the site of the altar. The second sign was that under the place of the altar, where the sacrifices were brought in the time of the Temple, the floor was made of a mixture of zinc and plaster.

"If even a speck of zinc is found," stated the rabbi, "we will know where the altar stood and that will advance us considerably."

In July of 1981, that small niche for a Holy Ark was carved into the wall in the extension of the Western Wall, opposite the spot where Rabbi Getz believed the Holy of Holies was located. Immediately after the excavations began, an opening was created and the huge eastward tunnel carved into the rock under the Temple Mount was discovered. Its dimensions were impressive - 28 meters long and six meters wide. The floor of the tunnel was covered with a great deal of water and mud. "I immediately approached the place and I was seized by an enormous excitement. For a long time I sat, unable to move, with burning tears pouring down my cheeks. I finally gathered up strength and entered. I sat on the steps and said Tikkun Hatzot [midnight prayers] as is our custom."

The first people brought in on the secret were the then director-general of the Religious Affairs Ministry, Gedalia Schreiber, and the two chief rabbis, Shlomo Goren and Ovadia Yosef. Goren was excited by the discovery as was Getz. He viewed the huge tunnels as a primary means to locate the precise location of the Holy of Holies, the area of the Holy Temple to which all but the High Priest on the Day of Atonement were forbidden entry, on pain of death.

Agreement on the matter would decide once and for all in the dispute among the rabbinical authorities concerning this major issue. It would also make it possible to define for the general public the boundaries of the area where one could be permitted to enter the Temple Mount, thus abolishing the sweeping prohibition imposed by most authorities on halakha (Jewish religious law) on Jews entering any part of the Temple Mount. Relaxing the prohibition might create yet another and perhaps even more complex problem in the relations between religion and state: All Israeli governments have prohibited Jews from praying on the Temple Mount (as opposed to visiting it). Relaxing the halakhic prohibition on entry to the Temple Mount would considerably widen the circle of those seeking to pray there.

Mortal danger

The floor of the tunnel was covered with mud and water, which were removed by hand. The circle of those privy to the secret grew. Among them was Israel Radio reporter Moti Eden who, says Volberstein, participated in the work of uncovering the tunnel. "At night, after my work at the radio station, I came to the tunnel and using hoes and wheelbarrows, helped with the difficult work of cleaning out the tunnel," recalls Eden, today Channel One's reporter in the north.

Seven weeks after the discovery of the tunnel, news about it was broadcast on Israel Radio. Reporters from all over the world streamed to the site. In late August, on a Friday night, Arabs brought water hoses and very powerful lighting into the tunnel through one of the openings in the floor of the Temple Mount. Getz, who feared the entry of Arabs into the tunnel and the Western Wall plaza, ordered the opening that had been made be boarded up. But just a few hours later, Muslims reentered the tunnel.

Getz was immediately alerted to come to the site from his home in the Jewish Quarter. His wife called students from the Ateret Cohanim yeshiva to come and ran after him. Seeing her husband standing almost all alone facing a group of Arabs holding tools, sticks and hoes, she ran back to the plaza where the worshipers were praying and cried, "Hurry! The rabbi is in mortal danger!"

The story ends with the political echelons ordering the opening to the tunnel sealed with reinforced concrete. Rabbi Getz wrote in his diary: "I will now retire from the project with a bitter taste in my mouth. I have never felt the humiliation of Judaism that I felt today in our own sovereign country. I pray that this is the end of the exile ... The media is going wild and self-hatred is rife. However, I must refrain from revealing secrets even to this diary and therefore I will not react or respond to those that condemn us."

On the evening of September 3, 1981, Getz added in his diary, "I felt during the Tikkun Hatzot prayers closer to the prayers of my forefathers when they saw the flames arising from the house of our Lord at the time of its destruction with their own eyes. The sound of the blows, of the Arabs inside the tunnel. Their every shout pierces my wounded heart. With all intensity, the cry left my mouth, `Gentiles have entered your sanctuary, defiled your Holy Temple, but I must remain strong and must not break down, for I must continue even if I am all alone.'"

In September 1995, three days after completing the construction of the Beit El yeshiva for the study of kabbala, Rabbi Getz passed away. In the Western Wall tunnels, there remains to this day the synagogue that he built, just opposite the spot where the Holy of Holies is assumed to be. Torah classes and prayers are still held there.

Getz was a personal friend of numerous public figures, among them Brigadier General (res.) Yossi Ben Hanan and Ma'aleh Adumim Mayor Benny Kashriel. He was careful not to go up on the Temple Mount, but his formal title, "rabbi of the Western Wall and the Temple Mount," testified to his heart's burning quest.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said yesterday that once the separation fence (WALL) is completed, the government will act vigorously to expel Palestinians living illegally within Israeli Arab communities.
