As always, I appreciate any kindness to the Jewish people because I know how very much Jews need demonstrations of Christian kindness. Nevertheless, in all honesty, I'm chagrined that the rabbi was invited to speak at the church. He is a teacher who wants you to learn why he doesn't believe in Jesus. He will tell you: 'If you really respect the Jewish people, you must not proselytize or presume that we Jews need your religion.' How could I be pleased about the church receiving that message?"

Ready For Mass Smallpox Vac

Heath districts all over the nation are mobilizing to mass vaccinate entire populations within their service areas against smallpox. The Idaho Observer and Vaccination Liberation are mobilizing to counter a mass vaccination campaign that could result in the worst public health disaster in human history.

 

The IO, in cooperation with VacLib will publish an eight-page edition called, ãThe Smallpox Alertä that will contain a full history of smallpox, smallpox vaccination and details of the mass vaccination plan. The edition will also include the packet insert for the Dryvax smallpox vaccine and reviews of studies published in medical journals. ãWe intend to orchestrate eight pages of science and common sense to derail the Bush administration plans to vaccinate America against smallpox. We will also publish some basic, inexpensive health and nutrition protocols that promote health and disease resistance,ä said VacLib President Ingri Cassel.

 

This story is developing very fast. It will be a race to reach enough Americans with accurate smallpox information before the CDC announces the one case that will put the national mass vaccination machinery into motion.

 

Voluntary or involuntary?

 

Early last November Panhandle Health District (PHD) Director Jeanne Bock told Cassel that the smallpox vaccine would ãalways be voluntary.ä We have since been getting reports which indicate Bock lied. A captain of the Grants Pass, OR. Police Department told Paul Walter editor of www.NewsWithViews.com at a special City Council meeting December 2, 2002 that he will get the shot or, ã...be arrested as a health risk to others.ä

 

A nurse in Spokane described the intense organizational activity going on at this time. She also said that people who refuse the shot, even those who are contraindicated with skin disorders or immune dysfunction, will be arrested.

 

Bonner County Sheriff Phil Jarvis reportedly explained that they are expecting mobs of people fighting to be first in line to get their shots. He told several witnesses that he has the authority to declare martial law if things get out of hand and that he wouldnât hesitate to do it.

 

A shot with every Americanâs name on it

 

In October, 2001, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act which, if adopted, would allow states to declare medical martial law. October, 2001 was also the month Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson announced that his agency was arranging to secure 300 million doses of smallpox vaccine÷one dose for every American.

 

Secretary Thompson believes that terrorists are planning to attack Americans with smallpox and that mass vaccination will protect them. Since The IO became aware of the federal governmentâs plan to vaccinate every American against smallpox it has published several articles that prove Thompsonâs plans are scientifically flawed. Both science and field experience indicate that the plan is likely to precipitate a public health disaster of unprecedented proportions.

 

Thompsonâs plan comes together

 

Last September 22, the CDC released a 49-page report to the nationâs public health community that details how to vaccinate millions of people within days. The report also instructed local health districts to forward a copy of their mass vaccination plan to the CDC by November 22, 2002. Bock sent a letter dated Nov. 13, 2002, to community leaders and elected officials, doctors, nurses, paramedics, police, firemen, school administrators and staff asking them to volunteer to help mass vaccinate their communities. ãPanhandle Health is requesting your help in responding to an urgent directive from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to develop a plan for mass immunization against smallpox. The requirement would provide for Îpost-eventâ mass immunization÷vaccinating 180,000 residents [the entire population of the five northern counties of Idaho comprising the Panhandle Health District].ä

 

As of Nov. 4, 2002, PHD has enlisted the support of over 1,050 volunteers. Mass vaccination clinics will be set up in area high schools, hospitals and clinics.

 

Bock is apparently counting on total cooperation from north Idaho citizens who boast the lowest vaccination rate in the nation. In an email message dated Dec. 1, 2002, Cassel reiterated several points of concern with regard to mass vaccination against smallpox, particularly with regard to the experimental nature of the Dryvax smallpox vaccine. Cassel indicated her concern that the mass vaccination will likely be followed by epidemics of secondary and systemic infections. Casselâs concerns are justified as published science and vaccine packet inserts provide a long list of people whose health conditions drastically increase the risk of medical complications that include death.

 

According to a handout PHD recently presented at a meeting of retired police and firemen in Sandpoint, its ãvisionä during the administration of the mass smallpox vaccination campaign is, ãTo safeguard the public against acts of bioterrorism, other infectious disease outbreaks and other public health emergencies.

 

PHDâs ãvisionä appears to be purely Orwellian. The nationâs most influential medical associations have publicly stated their opposition to mass vaccination against smallpox. Citing the likelihood that such a campaign will spread, rather than prevent the disease and will cause significant numbers of people to suffer permanent injuries and death, the American Academy of Physicians and Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Association of Family Physicians all oppose mass vaccination against smallpox.

 

The plan

 

Once the CDC sounds the alarm that one case of smallpox has been diagnosed, health districts all over the nation will be prompted to spring their mass vaccination plans into action. The trigger will be based on the claim that, because vaccination wiped out smallpox, just one reported case will indicate that we are under attack.

 

According to the CDC, smallpox is clinically indistinguishable from cowpox and monkeypox, diseases that occur regularly in third world countries where people are subjected to poor nutrition and unsanitary conditions.

 

Therefore, the claim that one case of smallpox will indicate we are under attack is based on fraud.

 

Once the mass vaccinations begin, potential recipients will be subjected to traige and instructed to fill out forms. Triage will categorize people by visible physical condition; the forms will require the disclosure of personal medical information and will relieve the staff, the medical facility and PHD of all liability for sickness and death that may result from the vaccine.

 

Recipients will then be given an orientations and will see a video on smallpox produced by the CDC. There will then be a review, after which people will either go right in to be given the shot or given a physical evaluation to determine if the evaluee is at risk for complications from the shot.

 

Shot worse than disease

 

For the October, 2002 edition of The IO we frontpaged photos of children who contracted smallpox from the vaccine. In its natural state, ordinary quarantine procedures and sanitation are sufficient to stop the spread of smallpox. The vaccine, however, produces a pustule at the site of injection that is extremely contagious and spreads on contact. Eyes, ears and noses ãsecondarily inoculatedä with fluid from the pustule that erupts at the injection site become hideously disfigured

That "Judeo- Christian dialogue" in this context is also absurd was well stated in the author-initiative religious journal, Judaism, Winter 1966, by Rabbi Eliezar Berkowitz, chairman of the department of Jewish philosophy, at the Hebrew Theological College when he wrote: "As to dialogue in the purely theological sense, nothing could be more fruitless or pointless. Judaism is Judaism because it rejects Christianity; and Christianity is Christianity because it rejects Judaism. What is usually referred to as the Jewish- Christian traditions exists only in Christian or Secularist Fantasy." There is no doubt this is true! And the fantasy exists in Christian and Secularist minds only because it was implanted there by the persistent propaganda of the masters of intrigue of the ADL-AJC Network. In short, the history of the Jews in Germany from 1870 to 1933 is probably the most glorious rise that has ever been achieved by any branch of the Jewish people.

SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota (AP) --A man who made a remark about a "burning Bush" during the president's March 2001 trip to Sioux Falls was sentenced Friday to 37 months in prison.

 

Richard Humphreys of Portland, Oregon was convicted in September of threatening to kill or harm the president and said he plans to appeal. He has said the comment was a prophecy protected under his right to free speech.

 

Humphreys said he got into a bar-room discussion in nearby Watertown with a truck driver. A bartender who overheard the conversation realized the president was to visit Sioux Falls the next day and told police Humphreys talked about a "burning Bush" and the possibility of someone pouring a flammable liquid on Bush and lighting it.

In the small town of Tschortkow in Galicia (Poland) there lived a learned and saintly man called Rabbi Hershelle Tschortkower.

He was busy night and day, for he never refused his help to those who needed him. Some people sought his advice; others his blessing. And then there were the poor widows, orphans, sick people, and old ones who needed money for their daily bread. He was forever collecting money for those who were unable to help themselves.

One day Rabbi Hershelle Tschortkower decided that he needed an assistant, for there was too much work for him to do alone. So he hired a shamash (secretary) to share his responsibilities. Anschel Moses Rothschild, who was then a poor young man, was happy to accept this job. The Rabbi and the shamash became dear friends.

But, after a few years, Anschel Moses decided to get married. He went to live in the nearby town of Sniatyn, where his father-in-law opened a store for him. The Rabbi was happy about the marriage, but he was sad to see his shamash leave, for he had been a faithful, devoted assistant.

Several months later, on the night before Passover when a solemn search for leaven is conducted in the Jewish home, a terrible thing happened. Rabbi Hershelle Tschortkower was examining the drawers in his desk, when he discovered that his purse with five hundred guldens was missing! That was money that had been collected to help orphans, widows and others in need.

The Rabbi pulled out the entire drawer and checked the desk more carefully. Then he pulled out the rest of the drawers to search them again. He looked under the desk and behind the desk, but the purse was not to be found. The Rabbi's heart was filled with pain. It took a long time to collect all that money, and now he had no way of helping unfortunate, helpless poor people.

Then he began to feel even more sad, for he suddenly realized that the only one who had known about the purse was Anschel Moses. The Rabbi had always trusted him; but who else could have taken the money? There was no other explanation.

Yet the Rabbi found it hard to believe that Anschel Moses might be a thief. Perhaps, thought the Rabbi, there was an explanation for the whole thing. Maybe Anschel Moses had borrowed the money when he went to Sniatyn to get married. Maybe he was already planning to return it? The Rabbi decided not to tell anyone about the missing money. He did not want to embarrass Anschel Moses, or let people know that he even suspected him. He decided to travel to Sniatyn to discuss the matter with Anschel Moses and give him an opportunity to clear up the matter.

Immediately after the festival, the Rabbi hired a wagon and went to visit Anschel Moses. Anschel Moses was very pleased to have such an honored visitor. Then the Rabbi told him the reason for his visit. The Rabbi said that he was sure Anschel Moses had only meant to borrow the money, and he was sure would return it now. G-d would forgive him for his wrongdoing, and no one would ever know about it. If it had been his own money, the Rabbi said, he would not have been so concerned, but this was money collected for people who otherwise might starve or suffer hardships, G-d forbid. And he himself had little money, so the stolen money had to be found immediately.

As the Rabbi spoke, Anschel grew pale and frightened, and his eyes filled with tears. He went to his money-box, emptied it, and without a word gave all the money to the Rabbi. The money was counted, but it was only half of the total sum. With deep regret, Anschel Moses promised to give the rest of the money to the Rabbi as quickly as possible.

The Rabbi was both relived and saddened. Anschel had not said word in self-defense. He had offered no excuses for his conduct. The tears in his eyes were proof of his shame and guilt. That made the Rabbi sad. He was happy, however, that Anschel Moses had realized his mistake and was returning the money.

The Rabbi thanked Anschel Moses. They shook hands and embraced, and the Rabbi said that everything was forgiven and forgotten.

During the next few months, Anschel Moses worked longer hours than ever and saved his money carefully to repay the Rabbi. The Rabbi realized that Anschel Moses was an honest and fine young man who had indeed deserved his trust and respect. Anschel Moses had made a mistake, but he was eager to make amends.

One morning, there was a loud knock on the Rabbi's door. He was surprised to see the Chief of Police standing there. The Chief asked the Rabbi to come with him to the Police Station on some important business. A horse and carriage were waiting in front of the house.

The Rabbi was very puzzled. He was afraid that there might be a serious problem. He prayed to G-d it should not be connected with any danger to the Jewish community.

The Police Chief brought the Rabbi to his office and in a very friendly way asked him if anything had been stolen from his house recently.

The Rabbi who had never spoken to anyone about the missing money was completely surprised. He told the Police Chief about the missing purse, but assured him that the one who took it had since returned the money. It was a young man who was getting married and needed the money. He really only meant to borrow it. The Police Chief asked a few more questions and he looked very bewildered by the entire story.

"Do you recognize her?" asked the Chief of Police. The Rabbi shook his head. "No, I'm afraid I don't," he answered, still mystified by the happenings.

It didn't take long for them to catch her. They found her digging in the garden, and when she was opening the purse, the police arrested her. There were only four coins missing. "Here you are, Rabbi," said the Chief of Police with a friendly smile.

"But you know," he said, "I just can't understand what you said. Why did that young man pay for the theft when he was not guilty? And why didn't he explain to you that he was not at fault?"

The Rebbe met the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, in 1923, in Rostov, Russia. In December, 1928 the Rebbe married the late Rebbetzin Chaya Moussia (19011988), second daughter of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak. The wedding took place in Warsaw, Poland. The Rebbetzin is well remembered for her exceptional erudition and compassion, yet unpretentious and humble demeanor.

1963- The Year That Changed America

Over the years, I have shared in debates and discussions regarding the current state of affairs in the U.S., and the changing social climate of this great nation. Since the "baby-boomer" generation, society and its culture have become noticeably different than the way it was 50 years ago. From the late 50's to the 70's a series of events took place contributing to the way we are currently living. However, like anything else, there has to be a starting point at which the wheels are put into motion. Sometimes it can be a single event, such as war, but more often, it is a series of events, some intentional, some planned, others unpredictable. There is always a pivotal point when things begin to change. I believe that time was 1963.

 

For my generation, some of the following will certainly stir old memories. If you born later, this may serve as a brief history lesson into the times your parents traveled through.

 

By 1963 television was the leading sources of entertainment. The public enjoyed a different type of programming back then. Lessons on life could be viewed weekly on "Leave it to Beaver" or "My Three Sons." There were hero's back then that never drew blood, "The Lone Ranger" and "The Adventures of Superman." Cartoon series evolved, such as, "The Flintstones" and "The Jetsons" without messages of empowering the children, using vulgarities or demeaning parental guidance. Family's could spend a weekend evening watching "Ed Sullivan," "Bonanza" or "Gunsmoke." For those who enjoyed thrill and suspense, we were blessed with "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and the "Twilight Zone." 'My Favorite Martian," "Ozzie and Harriet," "Donna Reed" and "Sea Hunt" also kept viewers entertained weekly.

 

Movie theaters were not multiplex units with 15 screens, rather, one single, giant big screen with adequate sound and hard seats without springs. "Tom Jones" had won the Academy award for best picture. "How The West Was Won," "Cleopatra," "Lily of the Fields," "The Great Escape," "The Birds," and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" were all box office hits.

 

By years end, "The Beatles" had played for the British Royal Family and were laying the groundwork to conquer the U.S. the following year. Eric Clapton began his journey to fame with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jim McCarty and their band, "The Yardbirds." Out on the west coast the surf was beginning to rock'n'roll with "The Beach Boys" and their first song to reach the top ten list, "Surfin' U.S.A."

 

"Joys of Jell-O" recipes for quivering florescent foodstuff hit the stores. U.S. Postal rates went up to five cents for the first ounce. AT&T introduced touch-tone telephones. The Yankees played in the World Series again; but lost to the Dodgers in four straight. The government and NASA began the Apollo program.

 

This is just a brief snapshot of some things that were going on back in 1963. Remember?

 

While some of these events played an important role in the direction of change that affect us today, many of them were lost to much greater, more political events, that I believe put everything into motion.

 

On January 10, 1963, the House of Representative and later the Senate began reviewing a document entitled "Communist Goals for Taking Over America." It contained an agenda of 45 separate issues that, in hindsight was quite shocking back then and equally shocking today. Here, in part, are some key points listed in that document.

Now, I am not saying that the U.S. is under some kind of Communist control, but what I do find frightening, is of the 45 issues listed, nearly all of them have come to pass. Remember this was in January 1963.

 

In 1963 the news media showed women burning their bras as the women's liberation movement took off with the publishing of "The Feminine Mystique" by Betty Friedan. Martin Luther King was jailed in April and civil unrest was being brought to the forefront. On August 28th the media brought us live coverage of the march on Washington and Dr. Kings famous "I had a dream" speech. The Cuban missile crisis found its way in to our homes and our nation was gearing up for conflict.

 

By September of 1963 we had lost some very influential people, Pope John XXIII, Robert Frost, and country legend Patsy Cline, to name a few. In the early hours of November 22nd we learned of the quiet passing of C.S. Lewis and hours later we were brought to our knees when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and our nation mourned.

 

So you see, while long since forgotten, 1963 could very well have been, one of the most important years since our founding fathers provided us with the Constitution of the United States. Which brings me to one final and extremely important decision that was made during this most provocative year.

 

On June 17, 1963 the U.S. Supreme Court concluded that any Bible reciting or prayer, in public schools, was deemed unconstitutional.

 

While American's have endured great prosperity over the past 40 years we have also lost our moral compass and direction. In reviewing the research, data supports 1963 as a focal point, demonstrating a downward slope in our moral and social decline through 2001.

 

Certainly, one would have to agree that all of these events have had a profound impact on the way our current social structure has been changed. Personally, if I had to choose one specific event that has demonstrated the demoralization of our country, it would have to be the decision of the U.S Supreme Court in June of 1963.
