President Gerald Ford and Chabad
Former President Gerald Ford, who became president in
1974 after the resignation of Richard Nixon, died Tuesday at 93. He once wrote
to the Rebbe: "Your efforts on behalf of education have perpetuated a
legacy that is a source of comfort and courage to many of our citizens."
State of Texas
Gang’s All Here: Texas Gov. Rick Perry meets with Orthodox rabbis at a 2010
menorah-lighting ceremony in Austin.
It could have been an awkward moment even for a seasoned politician like
Texas Governor Rick Perry. Surrounded by a group of Orthodox rabbis in black
hats and black suits during a Hanukkah ceremony at the Texas State Capitol,
Perry, now a leading contender for the Republican presidential nomination, was
swept into a hora dance, holding hands with the Jewish leaders as they
surrounded the lighted menorah. But Perry did not seem to mind. “That was a
real ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” he said
jokingly.
“The whole atmosphere was very warm, and we all felt very comfortable,”
said ceremony leader Rabbi Shimon Lazaroff, regional director of Chabad in
Texas.
Perry, who wears his
(Judeo evangelical anti-Christ lying) Christian
beliefs on his sleeve, had been making friends in the Orthodox Jewish community
even before entering the presidential race. Now he has intensified these
efforts, winning early support from the activists on the conservative end of the
Jewish political spectrum.
In fact, Perry’s Jewish backers are mainly Orthodox.
And in attitude, many resemble the type of voters that caused a political
sensation in August by helping to hand New York’s 9th Congressional District
over to the Republican Party. For these Jewish voters, the charismatic
governor’s alignment with Israel’s right wing and his conservative values
make him an ideal candidate.
“He’s not one of those who call themselves friends of Israel but view
that as an excuse to twist Israel’s arm,” said Jeff Ballabon, a media
executive and public relations expert who was a major
player in helping then president George W. Bush make inroads to the Orthodox
Jewish community. “He recognizes that Israel exists under constant
pressure and that true friendship is to give Israel support while it navigates
its way to peace. That’s a worldview with which I am comfortable.”
Many of these backers are also distinguished by their
strong support not just for Israel, but also for Israel’s settlements on the
occupied West Bank, and by their opposition to territorial compromise on that
land with the Palestinians.
In a September 20 New York press conference, Perry, flanked by rabbis and
mostly Orthodox Jewish leaders, attacked the administration for its policy of
“appeasement” that encouraged the Palestinian move for statehood at the
United Nations. Perry went on to vow his support for a united Jerusalem
(That Whore City full of the blood of the Prophets and
Jesus and the saints of GOD) and rejected the
idea of a freeze on building in West Bank settlements. Joining Perry at the
event was Danny Danon, a Likud lawmaker who has called for the annexation of the
West Bank by Israel if the Palestinians move forward with their bid for
statehood.
The gallery of Jewish leaders surrounding Perry at the event provided a
glimpse into his support within the community. Standing just next to Perry was
Joseph Frager, a New York physician and the chairman of American Friends of
Ateret Cohanim, a group that buys lands and homes in
mostly Palestinian East Jerusalem, evicts the Arabs residents and moves Jews
into these spaces. “He has strong views on Israel that are in line with
my views, to a great extent,” Frager said. He praised the Texas candidate for
being a “straight shooter” and said that while he did not discuss the issue
of Ateret Cohanim with the governor directly, “my guess is that he will
understand and support the purchase of homes in the Old City of Jerusalem.”
Frager, organizer of an annual Central Park concert for Israel, laid out his
vision for the State of Israel at this year’s event, saying: “Not one inch
of the land should be given to anyone. It’s our land.”
And you will have it for a
very brief time, until that "GREAT DAY of the LORDS Wrath"
Frager, with Dr. Paul Brody, another Jewish backer of Perry, had planned to
hold a Jewish fundraiser for the candidate in New York, but he postponed the
event for logistical reasons. The two were previously active supporters of Mike
Huckabee but switched to Perry after the former Arkansas governor dropped out of
the Republican race. For Jewish voters, Perry and Huckabee represent a similar
ideology, one that, among other things, stresses support for Israel’s right to
continue to expand its West Bank settlements. This is coupled with a
conservative set of values that includes opposition to abortion rights,
rejection of same-sex marriage and questioning of the Theory of Evolution.
“Religious Jews don’t believe in evolution, so I have no problem with a
religious Christian who doesn’t believe in it,” said Frager, a
gastroenterologist who received his medical degree from the University of
Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Perry’s strong convictions regarding Israel are in part a product of his
visits to the country, two of which were organized and
funded by Rabbi Irwin Katsof, a Jewish activist and businessman from New York
and a former fundraiser for Aish HaTorah, a network of yeshivas (den
of murderers and thieves and blasphemers) in Israel
and the Diaspora that strongly opposes territorial compromise with the
Palestinians on the West Bank. During Perry’s November 2009 visit, the
governor was presented by Katsof with the Defender of Jerusalem Award, a private
foundation award given to foreign dignitaries deemed as supportive of Israel.
Katsof’s activism on Israel combines his business and his philanthropic
activity. As an investor and funder he has forged business alliances between
Israeli companies and firms in the United States and in Eastern Europe. Katsof
is also the director of America’s Voices in Israel, a program that brings
radio pundits and entertainers to broadcast from Israel, and the founder of
Honest Reporting, a watchdog organization aimed at fighting anti-Israel media
bias. Katsof, who lives in the Hasidic
enclave of Monsey, N.Y., has brought many Republican politicians to
Israel throughout the years and assisted them in forging ties with Israeli
officials and local business leaders.
While there are no specific polling numbers regarding Perry’s support among
potential Jewish voters, a recent survey, published September 26 by the American
Jewish Committee, indicates that the Texas governor might not be the most
attractive candidate for Jewish voters. Paired against President Obama, Perry,
according to the AJC poll, would win only 25% of the Jewish vote, less than
former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, who could gain 32%. Michele Bachmann,
the poll suggests, would win only 19%.
The stronger Jewish preference for Romney could be a
sign of Jewish unease with candidates who emphasize their religion and
its influence on their views, as Perry and Bachmann often do. Perry, as governor
of Texas, recently hosted a massive evangelical prayer event at Houston’s
Reliant Stadium. He also speaks of his fundamental Christian beliefs on the
campaign trail.
anti Christ beliefs which are not Biblical
“It didn’t bother me at all,” said Dov Hikind, a
Democratic New York State assemblyman who is Orthodox and also a strong
supporter of West Bank settlements. “Could there be a candidate whose
religious views are so overwhelming that I’d not support him? Of course. But I
don’t think Perry is such a candidate.” Hikind participated in Perry’s
press conference but has not endorsed him.
“Orthodox Jews are less uncomfortable with other people’s expression of
faith,” added Ballabon, who explained that in the Orthodox community, talk
about prayer and religious beliefs “doesn’t scare people.”
Not as long as the smug sons of Satan have destroyed
the Constitution of the United States with full intention of MURDERING the TRUE
Christ Believers by their Trickery of Easter (Esther) HJR 104, PL 102-14
And Perry, as it turns out, isn’t scared of religion, even when it involves
intervening to allow the placing of giant Jewish mezuza on Texas condominium
doorframes. Perry recently signed a law overriding restrictions on the
dimensions of mezuzas and allowing the ritual symbol to reach a truly Texas size
of 25 inches. A quick entrepreneur already began marketing a huge “Rick Perry
Mezuzah” honoring the governor for taking on the issue

For Utah's Jews, Jon Huntsman Is Their Kind of Mormon
Romney Earns Suspicion By Wearing Religion on His Sleeve
Getty Images
Who Is Jack? Utah’s Jews say Jon Huntsman is the kind of Mormon they are
comfortable with. Mitt Romney, despite earning national appeal among
Jewish Republicans, rubs many the wrong way.
Salt Lake City — In Utah, former governor Jon
Huntsman is known in some circles as a “Jack Mormon,” local parlance for
someone who might claim affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints but is less than active in his local Mormon Church.
of course they have already bowed to Satan and his
sons
Jan 24, 2011 – When Mormons
are asked by Jews whether they are Noahides, they almost
... in which Israelite tribe they will receive their
spiritual inheritance.
And among Utah Jews, that seems to count as a definite plus.
“Jews would be more comfortable with the Jack Mormon than an ethical
Mormon” as president, said Bruce Cohne, a retired Salt Lake City lawyer and
a former president of the United Jewish Federation of Utah. “Jews question
everything. A Jack Mormon is not someone who
adheres blindly to the church.”
There are two Mormons currently in the race for the GOP nomination for
president. And Mitt Romney, the frontrunner, appears to
be drawing substantial, if not yet massive, support from Republican Jews
nationally. But in Utah, where Jews know their
Mormons, some Jewish leaders harbor concerns about a more pious
Mormon, such as Romney, in the White House. Indeed, in some cases those
concerns appear to echo the kinds of objections that John F. Kennedy drew in
1960 from some Protestants who feared that if he were elected as the
nation’s first Catholic president, he would be taking orders from the pope.
“If you listen to Romney, he never said he would oppose a message from
the LDS Church,” Cohne said. “Would they use their influence to modify
policies? I think so.” Using the formal title for the president of the LDS
Church, Cohne said that as president, a religious Mormon “could not back off
from the word of the Prophet.” (In fact, Romney said in a 2007 speech that
“no authorities of my church, or of any other church for that matter, will
ever exert influence on presidential decisions.”)
In other cases, Utah Jews, including Republicans, see Romney’s
affiliation with the Mormon Church as suggestive of an inflexible approach to
politics. “Huntsman falls into that category where he will think for himself
and comes up with his own ideas. I don’t know that Mitt Romney will be that
liberal thinking,” said Clifford White, a prominent Republican Jewish
realtor in Utah. Still, White, said that Romney would be
his reluctant second choice. “Most Mormons follow what the president
of the Mormon Church says.”
2nd vote count, via hanging chad?
As conservative Jewish leaders in America assess the 11 and counting
Republican presidential candidates, they are looking foremost for someone who
can beat Obama. But they are also in search of a candidate who might peel away
disgruntled Jewish voters and their money from the Democratic Party. Huntsman,
stuck at an abysmal 1.4 percent in public opinion polls for the GOP primary
race, is widely dismissed as all but marginal in this campaign. But Jews in
Utah — deeply familiar with the Mormon faith — seem simultaneously
squeamish about Romney and smitten with Huntsman. And yes, (Noahide)
religion has a lot to do with it.
Romney is a devout Mormon and has given millions to the LDS Church. During
his previous campaign for president he made a point of not distancing himself
from his faith, telling voters in a nationally televised speech in 2007 “I
believe in my Mormon faith and I endeavor to live by it.” Huntsman is more
casual about his Mormon background. “I can’t say I’m overly
religious,” he said in an interview with Fortune magazine last year, adding
that he sends his children to Catholic schools. “I get
satisfaction from many different types of religions and philosophies.”
On the national level, these distinctions mean little. But in Utah they carry
weight.
“There is a bit of a culture war in Utah that exists,” said Quin
Monson, a professor of political science at Brigham Young University, a school
under LDS sponsorship. “If there is tension, it is often oversimplified into
Mormon versus non-Mormon. I think there is some of that. But splitting it into
three parts is closer to the truth — that is, Mormons, religious non-Mormons
and non-religious non-Mormons.”
According to Monson, Mormons and religious non-Mormons are often political
allies in conservative state politics in Utah, where religiosity — or, at
least, church attendance and religious involvement — correlates strongly
with conservative political outlooks. Meanwhile, Utah’s tiny Jewish
population (estimates put it at 5,000 people) is a microcosm of the Jewish
community nationwide. Like their coastal counterparts, Jews in Utah are mostly
secular and mostly Democratic.
The fact that religiosity so strongly indicates one’s politics in Utah
could explain why Utah’s Jews look at Romney — a religious Mormon — and
see a conservative. This stands in contrast to the national conservative
Jewish discourse, which posits Romney as a viable, even moderate, candidate
who could take on Obama.
“I don’t think that in the Jewish community there is any natural
prejudice against voting for a Mormon,” said Fred Zeidman, one of Romney’s
Jewish outreach liaisons.
To be sure, Jewish antipathy toward Romney in Utah could be explained by
the fact that the Jewish community simply doesn’t know him as well as it
does Huntsman. Romney’s presence in Utah as CEO of the Salt Lake Organizing
Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics was fleeting. Huntsman, on the other
hand, left a lasting impression on Utah’s Jews as a political moderate.
Huntsman repeatedly went against the Mormon grain while governor, pushing a
socially liberal-ish (for Utah) agenda that earned him high approval ratings
among the state’s Democrats. For instance, in 2008 Huntsman expanded public
benefits to cover partners of nonmarried employees—including gays. (The
bill, however, prohibited the use of the terms “domestic partnership” or
“civil union” in describing these relationships in the state benefits
registry.) Huntsman also reformed Utah’s draconian liquor laws to pave the
way for tourism in Utah.
“He may not drink alcohol, but that didn’t prevent him from making it a
policy priority to make sane some of our alcohol laws,” said David Litvack,
Democratic minority leader in the Utah House of Representatives and one of two
Jewish Democrats in the legislature.
Huntsman has a particularly warm relationship with
Rabbi Benny Zippel, Utah’s Chabad-Lubavitch leader. When Huntsman was
elected governor of Utah in 2004, Zippel invited him to a menorah lighting
ceremony at ZCMI, a department store in Salt Lake City. This marked the
beginning of a spiritual friendship, with Huntsman referring to the Chabad
leader as “my rabbi,” according
to Zippel.
In 2009, Huntsman invited Zippel to join him on a trip to Israel to seek
out business partnerships between Israeli and Utah companies. Zippel brought
along a Chabad of Utah
yarmulke for Huntsman, which he said the candidate wears to Jewish campaign
events. It was on this trip, Zippel said, that Huntsman received a phone call
alerting him that he was tapped to be Obama’s ambassador to China.
“Those [Jews] who have lived here for a while have a lot more respect for
the record of Jon Huntsman than for that of Mitt Romney, if that were the only
choice,” said Frederick Wenger, Rabbi emeritus at Congregation Kol Ami, a
Reform synagogue in Salt Lake City. “But there will be a certain number of
them who will go for Obama.”
For Cohne, the choice is clear: “Huntsman over Obama? Yes. Romney over
Obama? No.”

With eyes on 2012, George Allen embraces long-lost Jewish
roots
By Mike Lillis - 08/21/10 12:52

Former GOP Sen. George Allen (Va.) this week embraced
the Jewish roots (sheeesh) he never knew
he had until four years ago.
This must be about the time he started reading the
Noahide news and in fear figured he better convert quickly to save his
wretched hyde....Nohide
At the Reston Hyatt-Regency outside Washington, the former lawmaker on
Thursday addressed followers of the Chabad-Lubavitch,
a Hasidic movement whose members are encouraged to nudge non-observant Jews into
adopting Orthodox customs.
Allen, who's preparing a 2012 run to reclaim his seat from Democratic Sen.
Jim Webb (Va.), was only too happy to comply, dining on kosher chicken and
blowing a shofar for the benefit of the assembled, The
Washington Post reported.
Allen's prepared
remarks featured a long-winded introduction on the topics of football,
freedom, Ronald Reagan and his own Jewish sympathies — even before learning
of his Jewish heritage. (Washington's Holocaust Museum, he said referring to a
visit in the 1990s, is "the best museum.")
Only afterward did Allen get into the meat of the address: "The family
revelation" that his mother had hidden her Jewish lineage until Allen
confronted her directly amid his 2006 reelection bid against Webb.
Bawhawhawhawhaw....mommy dearest
Allen described the encounter in his remarks:
"After this last of my innocent,
cross-examination questions in between spoons of cereal, my mother very
seriously told me that she would tell me 'something' but only if I swore not
to tell anyone," he said. "She insisted that I 'swear' on
Pop-pop’s [her father's] head that I tell no one. … My mother then
haltingly told me that 'Pop-pop was Jewish.'"
a Poptart
It was, Allen said, "a fascinating discovery."
he vomited the non Kosher cereal, and started making
millions of dollars from the FED banksters that day, what a miracle it
was...................
"From that day forward, the core
principle of freedom of conscience, beliefs and religion was no longer a
matter of enlightened philosophy to me," he said, according to the
remarks. "It became deeply personal in my heart-wrenching realization of
how fear and persecution so tormented my loving, loyal mother’s life."
WHAT ??????????? I say WHAT ????????????? what a scum
statement on his MOTHER for crying out loud what a sniveling whining dog
The revelation was especially "interesting," Allen added,
"because I majored in history and have been a leader for nanotechnology."

Oversized Mezuzah Named for Presidential
Candidate Rick Perry
Los Angeles, CA - In possibly the first time a mezuzah has ever figured into
a presidential race, a Los Angeles based online store specializing in mezuzahs
is selling a mezuzah being marketed as “The Rick Perry
Mezuzah.”
The one of a kind mezuzah, made out of Jerusalem stone, measures twenty six
inches long and is being offered for sale on the site for $999.
or 666
The MezuzahStore.com was founded by Rabbi Aaron Shaffier who is both a Sofer
and self proclaimed mezuzah aficionado. The 34 year old former Californian
who now resides in Beitar Ilit also maintains a mezuzah blog on the store’s
website, where he writes about different topics pertaining to mezuzahs,
including any mezuzah related news.
“Over the past few years, I have seen several instances in Florida, Chicago
and Texas where condominium associations have banned homeowners from placing
mezuzahs on their doorposts,” R’ Shaffier told VIN News. “Do
homeowners have the right to place a mezuzah on their door? If a
condominium complex bans mezuzahs, are they encroaching on the residents’
religious rights?”
CHRISTIANS you have the RIGHT to Place the CROSS on
your DOOR, but then again it would become easier for these RED Dan MURDERERS to
find you
The Texas Mezuzah Law (HB-3025) was born after Michael and Monica Smith were
fined for placing a three inch silver mezuzah on the doorway of their Houston
rental apartment in May 2007. After losing a lawsuit for religious
discrimination filed against the condominium association, the couple contacted
Houston Representative Garnet Coleman to sponsor a bill protecting the right to
put up a mezuzah to prevent the problem from recurring in the future.
The bill, passed this past June by Governor Rick Perry requiring homeowners
associations to allow religious displays up to twenty five inches in height,
piqued R’ Shaffier’s interest.

“Everyone always brags about everything being bigger in Texas.(bigger

thought it was humorous that there was actually a law that dictated the
allowable size of a mezuzah and decided to make a mezuzah that exceeded that
size by just one inch. We weren’t looking to challenge the new law or to
make any trouble. We just thought it was a cute idea that could give us
great publicity. We couldn’t decide if we should name it ‘The Texas
Condo Mezuzah’ or ‘The Rick Perry Mezuzah’. ”
The mezuzah, which had been ordered in the middle of June, was delivered just
days before Governor Perry announced that he was throwing his hat into the
presidential ring and given the timing, the mezuzah was dubbed “The Rick Perry
Mezuzah”.
A spokesperson for the Perry campaign told VIN News that at this time they
had no comment on the unique mezuzah bearing the Governor’s name

Ecstatic Jews, a messiah proclaimed, and the consequential divisions

Like many other young men in Crown

AP/WideWorld
It's like Schneerson never left.
But you should see his ride. When he's not ensconced in 770 Eastern
Parkway, the center of the Chabad-Lubavitch universe,
the 26-year-old Israeli and his crew drive around in a blinged-out Cadillac, a
regular kandy-kolored streamline baby. Oy vey.
The Caddy, which they bought a few years ago, is bright yellow and covered
with enormous decals featuring a "King Messiah" crown and a picture
of the messiah himself: Rebbe Menachem
M. Schneerson. A dollar

rebbe's practice of handing out dollar bills to his visitors to give to

This is shembolism for the whores g-string
Among Lubavitchers, the rebbe is more than revered. Officially, he died 14
years ago. (even his bones are rotted) But
to many Lubavitchers, dead he's not, and the messiah—not just for Jews, but
the entire planet—he most certainly is.

When they aren't studying, the yeshiva boys doggedly tool around the city
and install yellow flags in homes and businesses. The flags look a lot like
the images on the car: a crown and the words "Long Live the King Messiah
Forever and Ever." Balulu installed seven last week and just ordered a
thousand more from a factory in China. He plans
to go to India next year: The rebbe, he says, has
advised him to be a Chabad emissary.
For now, Balulu goes to Union Square every Friday afternoon to hand out
Chabad materials and to "bar-mitzvah" non-observant Jews. (Noahide

vendor at the weekly farmers' market. They tend to get into friendly
discussions with passersby, like a recent confab they
had with a teenage Korean Christian missionary and the Pennsylvania
Amish vendor over the meaning of Orthodox Judaism. Their target, however, is
secular Jews. From behind their table festooned with (what else?) yellow
flags, the boys ask Jews to pray with them—specifically to repeat, word for
word, a prayer referred to as the Yechi chant, which identifies the
rebbe as the messiah. Yes, the Messiah.
Chanting to the dead
Schneerson's the reason you see dark-suited young men like Balulu in Union

slogan Yechi ha Melech, which roughly translates as "Long Live the
King Messiah Forever and Ever." She answers the phone with these same
words.
Not all Lubavitchers have gotten the message. Even as Chabad has grown into
a billion-dollar (TRILLIONS they have fleeced)
empire in the wake of the rebbe's death, the battle lines between those who
accept Schneerson's demise and those who don't have hardened.
Rabbi
Zalman Shmotkin, a spokesman for Chabad, describes the behavior of people
like Kanevsky as "more painful than words"—an abuse of the rebbe's
message. For some Jews within and outside Chabad, messianism, with its
prophecy of a sort of second coming, smacks too much of Christianity.
LIKE.....FALSE CHRIST as is written
Others say it violates the monotheistic religion's prohibitions against
idolatry. And some think it cultish or just too simplistic—a caricature of
Jewish teachings.
"At the end of the day, running around saying, 'My guy is the messiah'
over and over—it's an echo chamber," says Shmotkin, a 39-year-old
rabbi. "And what the rebbe was creating was the opposite of an echo
chamber."
Meanwhile, the conflict continues to reverberate. In Crown Heights,
messianists and non-messianists pray in separate synagogues, listen to
different radio programs, and study in separate houses of learning. Many
messianists wear yellow lapel pins adorned with crowns and erect matching
yellow flags on the façades of their homes. The two groups do not intermarry.
Satan's little empire Divided
In a way, Kanevsky herself is a cornerstone of the controversy. A court
battle between the two camps is connected to Kanevsky's arrest for doggedly
hanging onto the cornerstone of 770 Eastern Parkway during a contretemps
outside the building in 2004: The Chabad leadership had obtained a restraining
order against the messianists after they defaced the stone. That case is still
on appeal
Meanwhile, the fight continues to play out right inside the building. Chabad,
the empire, has its headquarters on the third floor, and it's at war with many
of the people who pray and study in the synagogue below.
Last December, as a part of the same court battle, a New
York State Supreme Court judge ruled that the owners of the building had the
right to remove a banner that the messianists had placed over the Torah ark in
the downstairs synagogue. The banner, proclaiming the rebbe "King Messiah
Forever and Ever," had been put up by four messianist trustees who were
elected to run the synagogue. Naturally enough, they're appealing the judge's
ruling.
There are two things that most Lubavitchers agree on: Crown Heights is one of
the most beautiful places on earth, and for the messianists, 770 is the holy
nerve center.
Satans Sanhedrin brain center
Some consider the building to be the resurrection of the Great Temple,
destroyed in Jerusalem
in 70 CE. Young people incorporate 770 into their e-mail addresses; older folks
try to buy houses with that auspicious number and have built exact replicas of
the Neo-Gothic building, which once housed a medical clinic, in places as
far-flung as Argentina and Brazil.
This one is a MORGUE
Portraits of the rebbe and his wife are fixtures in just about every home. Schneerson
was a powerful figure who received heads of state and advised multimillionaire
financiers, (BANKERS and the FED) and his
followers cherish their memories of him, even at a house next to his
(ostensible) Long
Island grave, where the video Encounters With the Rebbe plays on a
continuous loop.
Now about that grave: Unlike the thousands of other Lubavitchers, Sara
Kanevsky has never paid a visit. She doesn't know who or what is in the grave,
but she's certain it's not the rebbe. On the anniversary of his death this past
July, while more than 50,000 people waited on a four-hour line outside the
cemetery, midnight buses rolled in from Canada, and Israelis camped out for the
weekend in the Chabad house next-door, Kanevsky went to 770 to celebrate.
and NOT ONE Has seen this wretched LUCIFERIAN ASCEND to
the HEAVENS
Kanevsky does a lot of celebrating when others are mourning. She says that in
the time of redemption, all rules are reversed. Two years ago, she walked around
eating ice cream in 770 on a fast day, which led to her being kicked out. And on
the most recent fast day this summer, she talked with some Chabad members in
Florida who were enjoying a spaghetti dinner. Kanevsky has even written a book
in four languages on the new rules.
Hypocrites, where will you HIDE?
She acknowledges that to some people in Crown Heights, she appears to be a
nut. But even that, she says, is part of the program. "The rebbe says you
have to be crazy about moshiach," she says, using the Hebrew word
for "messiah." "Miracles are crazy."
Yid-iot
Those lubavitchers who believe that Schneerson is the messiah became more
vocal about it after the rebbe suffered a debilitating stroke in 1992.
In the preceding year, Schneerson himself had begun to tell his followers
that the redemption was imminent. He urged them to do everything in their power
to bring it about.
Though he never referred to himself directly as the messiah (the rebbe rarely
spoke about himself), some people began to see it that way. At religious
gatherings, hundreds of people shouted the Yechi chant. It's unclear what
the rebbe thought of these outcries. Messianists say he shook his fist in
support; confidantes claim that he was pained by the sight of it; and still
others aren't sure whether, after the stroke, the rebbe was able to understand
the implications of what was happening before his eyes.
AND is DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD
No one really knows how many Lubavitchers believe that Schneerson is the
messiah. It's been a mostly futile effort trying to quantify them, though some
have tried methods like counting yellow flags. (Chinese
made, hey thats an idead, ask....) This is partly due to the
gradations of belief among the messianists: While many believe that the rebbe's
death was an illusion, there are some who accept it but are convinced that he
will one day be resurrected; others who believe deeply that he is the messiah
but don't publicize it, preferring to keep the whole thing a matter of the
heart; and still others who aren't 100 percent sure either way but are afraid to
really talk about it, since it has become such a contentious matter. And then
there are those, like Kanevsky and Balulu, who proclaim their faith to everyone
they meet.
A youthful, 40-year-old mother of seven, Kanevsky and her friends live their
lives in a state of near-ecstasy. And while fervor
and joyousness are central to all forms of Hasidic Judaism,
the messianists' exuberance is unusual.
The crown lies easy upon their heads. In fact, as Kanevsky stands before a
cluster of five women sitting on benches in 770, she's wearing not only a
form-fitting black skirt and a long-haired wig, but also a necklace with a
golden crown attached to it—the symbol of the King Messiah. The jewel-studded
crown is larger than her palm. She has two cell phones pressed to her ears.
Another cell phone and an iPod
rest on the bench in front of her. The devices are recording her daily
three-hour radio address and workshop, the topic of which is the redemption. The
address is being broadcast live over the Internet. A blown-up portrait of the
rebbe has been placed on a bench behind them
The women pass around grapefruits, figs, and homemade baked tilapia in a
large aluminum catering tray. "We call this the fish
of the redemption," says regular attendee Devorah
Leah Blau as she fills her plate (a friend is rocking Blau's baby).
Kanevsky is largely self-taught, but when she has a question of any
significance, she says she consults the rebbe. Like
Balulu and others, she does this by either placing a note or asking a question
aloud in front of a stack of books containing his collected letters. Then she
turns to a page at random and finds that the rebbe has left an answer there.
Last week, for example, she wondered in a dream whether her friend Ruth would
become a millionaire. When she opened the book, she says, the date of her
friend's birthday was on the page—a sign that the rebbe was listening.
AND "Maraka" YOUR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES
WORSHIP THIS DEAD BEAST
After Kanevsky's class ends, she stashes the rebbe's photo behind a bookcase
in the women's section. "Did I tell you about the time I got
arrested?" she asks. Then she bolts out the door and onto the promenade,
which is elevated about 10 feet above the sidewalk. She looks over a stairwell
and points down below, to a cornerstone in the façade of the building. In 2002,
the Chabad leadership placed a plaque engraved with the words "of blessed
memory" beside the cornerstone in honor of Schneerson. The messianists,
resenting the implication that Schneerson was no longer alive, vandalized the
plaque and put their own in its place. Multiple riots erupted in front of 770,
and the police put up barriers and surrounded the plaque.
During one pf the uprisings, Kanevsky saw the commotion and decided to leap
from the promenade. But wearing high heels, she fell, and people thought she had
broken her ankle. Then she got up and ran to the cornerstone. Her friend Ruth
jumped in after her. The women held onto the stone until the police pulled them
away.
Zalman Shmotkin acknowledges that Jewish law allows for a great wise figure
in every generation, but he's not convinced that Schneerson should be considered
the king messiah of them all. Shmotkin, who has an office on the third floor of
770, says he never prays in the building's synagogue. One of his deepest fears
is that people will see messianism as the face of Chabad, and that this will
alienate them from the rebbe's teachings. "It's so not what we're
about," he says.
"It violates common sense and makes the movement seem insane," says
David
Berger, a historian and the author of The Rebbe, the Messiah, and the
Scandal of Orthodox Indifference. "They think it turns people off to
Hasidic teaching, and it's a sincere concern."
Berger, himself an observant Jew, says that while researching the book, he
watched videos that were filmed at 770 after the rebbe's death. In one, people
cleared a path across the synagogue to allow the invisible rebbe to walk to his
chair. "When people tell me that the kind of scene I just described is
crazy," he says, "I react by saying that there are millions of people
in the world who are perfectly normal and intelligent people, who believe that
the priest is holding a piece of bread and that this bread is the real presence
of Jesus
of Nazareth."
Bwah haw haw haw haw, what insane superstition
anti-Christ religionist have, Hey Baby, I opened the Sunbeam bread and Jesus
walked out..................................
With the Lubavitchers as with Christians, messianic
beliefs are nuanced, Berger says. He thinks that most Luba- vitchers,
either secretly or openly, do believe that the rebbe is the messiah, but that
only a small fraction believe he is still alive.
Like I said, he is in South America sitting besides
Hitler and Elvis, sipping a pina collada
That contention has made Berger the target of severe attacks in the Lubavitch
world. And though he staunchly opposes the movement, he says that there are
strong theological underpinnings both to the messianism and even to the
"seemingly crazy assertion" that the rebbe really didn't die.
"Judaism says that in every generation, there is a righteous person that
connects the world to the divine energy," he explains. "If there is no
leader, the world would actually cease to exist. So the fact that the rebbe has
died and that the world continues to exist is a conundrum to them, and it leads
them to believe that the rebbe must not have died. But even people who believe
he did die find this to be a challenging question." They resolve it, he
adds, by opining that we're living in strange times, or that the rebbe is still
providing the divine connection from his grave.
UH, Chabad......we have a problem
Kanevsky finishes her class in the late afternoon. By that time, Crown
Heights is a rush of preparations for Sabbath. She passes hat shops with
old-world lettering on their façades, ancient gumball machines, and elderly
women begging for some Sabbath charity on the sidewalk. Kanevsky gives each of
the women a few dollars and walks into a glatt-kosher meat store. The store
sells things like goulash and schnitzel, but Kanevsky is looking for a special
kosher chicken.
The kind you wave around your head, saying three hail
maries and Abra Kadabras
The store appears to be out of stock. The clerk—who doesn't wear a yellow
pin—says to Kanevsky, in Hebrew: "With your luck, Yechi ha Melech,
you'll find the meat." She reaches into a pile and finds the last package
for sale. Yet another miracle
Ah, what a wonderful world. As Martha Stewart
says....."Its a good thing"
Kanevsky continues walking, buying flowers from an Israeli child. She stops
in a Caribbean-owned dry cleaners to pick up a jacket and laments that she is
out of the moshiach business cards that she normally carries around. Then
she remembers that she gave them all out on the subway earlier in the day. As
she passes a group of men, one of them calls out: "Moshiach!"
Kanevsky looks over her shoulder. "See? They believe it, too, but don't
show it," she says, almost surprised that someone would keep the greatest
thing in the world a secret. Then she smiles. "They know what I represent

2 Thes.2:1: Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5: Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6: And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Evangelical
Anti-Christ in Defence of Mystery Babylon
Walk into any Christian
bookstore in America and you will see how virtually everyone who calls
themselves a follower of Jesus Christ in this nation has been tricked into
believing a false theology, which leads them to believe, erroneously, that the
Bible commands them to support the Jewish nation of Israel.
The driving force behind this error was the 1909 Scofield
Reference Bible, which was the first Bible printed by Oxford University
Press that included theological reference notes that guide the reader as to how
to “properly” understand, or interpret, the biblical text.
See Scofield's connection to Samuel J. Untermier and
Rothschilds who financed this anti-Christ doctrine to due the less than
intelligent of American middle class elite wannabe's
It’s no coincidence that the rise of Zionism,
that is: the impulse of the Jews to seek a homeland for themselves, began not
long before the Scofield Reference Bible was published. In the late 1800’s,
England is where Zionism first found political support. England was already
awash with the erroneous “Christian” doctrine of British-Israelism,
wherein the British Christians were taught that they were of the lost tribes of
Israel; therefore they should support the Zionist Jews venture to create a
Jewish state: Israel.
With the advent of World War I, England began the push to create a Zionist
homeland for the Jews in Palestine. This served two functions: it would ensure
safe passage through the Suez
Canal and trade with India; and it would placate the Zionist Jews and the
British Christians who, due to British-Israelism, had been fooled into thinking
they should support Zionist Jews in obedience to God and the Bible.
The seed of Abraham are them by faith in Christ, see
Galatians 3
Fast forward 100 years and we find that American Evangelical Christians have,
long ago, been fooled into believing they should support Jewish Zionism, because
they mistakenly believe the Bible teaches this, and that God will curse them and
America if they/we don’t. Thus we have never-ending support from the American
Evangelical Christian Right for endless wars on behalf of Israel.
It is the choose are cursed through their dis-belief in
the Messiah and for their hatred of the True Believers in Jesus Christ. IT is
the Choose who could be grafted back into the TRUE Vine of Christ if they
repent.
This duping of American Evangelical Christians is mostly due to the fact that
the Scofield Reference Bible and its footnotes, which explains the biblical text
in a way that convinces its unsuspecting readers to support Zionist
Jews. Its complimentary theology: Dispensationalism,
has been instrumental in influencing American Evangelical Christians to support
Israel, because the theology of Dispensationalism has been pervasive throughout
virtually every American Evangelical Bible school and theological seminary for
the past 100 years.
For the average Evangelical cannot and will not study a
KJV on their own, prayerfully
This erroneous doctrine, Dispensationalism, has resulted in the Judaizing
of American Evangelical Christianity and has been successful in
converting Evangelical Christian Americans into Christian Zionists, who are not
following the teachings of Jesus Christ, the New Testament, or traditional
orthodox Christianity at all. In fact, these millions of well-meaning people
have adopted a false theology, based upon
a twisting of and a re-interpretation of the Scriptures and
have become a part of America’s largest and most influential
non-Christian, even anti-Christian, cult: Judeo-Christianity.
“Judeo-Christianity is less than 200 years old. The Jewish Zionism
movement has played the key part in assuring its growth. We see the result
in the creation of a new “Christianity” which in its extreme form is known
as Christian Zionism. It was first fed by Oxford University Press’s Scofield
Reference Bible published in New York in 1908, and updated several times. Bible
editors, including Oxford, have failed to correct obvious changes in common
usage of words, such as “Jew” and “Israel” that provide misleading,
Zionist friendly inferences.”
“Oxford sold a new 20th Century theology to evangelical seminaries.
The Scofield usage has become a standard in most study or reference Bibles used
by a wide range of evangelicals, and even penetrating into mainline church bible
studies and broadcast media. These books are the subject of many articles
by this author and others.” (See: http://www.whtt.org/show/)
Source: http://whtt.org/newwhtt/main.php?nid=3132
It should not come as a surprise to any Bible-believing Christian that false
teachings and false teachers will use the Bible to convince
well-meaning believers to believe a lie rather than the truth, because
the Bible itself, through St. Paul, warns us of this danger:
“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as
apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of
light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of
righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” (1 Cor.
11:13-15).
Judaized Christians, or Christian
Zionists, are fond of turning the discipline of Bible study on its head
by allowing the Old Testament to interpret and to clarify the New Testament
when, in fact, the proper method of Christian Bible study is to do the
opposite: allow the New Testament to shed light on and interpret the Old
Testament. Thus these “Christians”, rather than following the teachings
and example of Jesus Christ, which is found in theNew Testament,
will force the words of Christ and the Christian New Testament to
comply with theOld Testament, especially regarding Israel.
Whereas Jesus himself cursed Israel and proclaimed its soon
abandonment by God, in Matthew 23, especially verse 38, as well as its
destruction at the hands of the Roman armies (see Luke 21:20) within
the lifetimes of those who heard his words (see Matt. 24:34), Judaized
Christians, or Christian Zionists will appeal to the teachings of the Old
Testament, especially Genesis 12:3, in direct contradiction to
the teachings of Jesus Christ found in the New Testament, and they will insist
that all Christians must support and bless Israel in order to be
faithful to God and the Bible. Yet nothing could be further from the truth.
This theological and hermeneutical error has led millions of so-called
Christians to support war rather than peace, and the merciless
killings of millions of people in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. Rather
than being peacemakers, as Christ commanded his followers to be (see Matt.
5: 9) these Christian Zionists have, instead, adopted the Old Testament
principle of waging war upon the enemies of Israel, at America’s
expense (e.g., lives, broken bodies, and tax monies).
What a horrendous perversion of the Gospel of Love! How can people
who claim to follow Christ be so misled?! Because they have been fooled
into believing the Bible teaches something it does not teach: Christian
support of Israel. Israel is, in fact: antichrist, because Israel denies
both the Father and the Son: “Who is the liar? It is the man who denies
that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father
and the Son.” (1 John 2:22).
Those who claim to be Christians but who do not follow Christ in love
lie and do not have the truth: “We know that we have come to know him if we
obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he
commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word,
God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:
Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:
3-6).

In a recent YouTube video uploaded by a Muslim, the Apostle Paul was
attacked viciously. What was his yap? Well, the Apostle Paul was a Jew first
off and Jews are notorious perverters of God's Book. And Paul, well, he was a
devil who invented Christianity. And all those books he wrote, well they are
filled with lies, contradictions, and blasphemy. If Christians are honest
people they will rip his books out of the New Testament along with his pervert
friend Luke's books, Luke and the book of Acts. Now that is a big rip-off
there. What would remain for this Muslim to want ripped off next.?
As I observed his obvious hate I could not but think how the Law-Keepers do
the same thing but under a different disguise. In any case the results are the
same, the New Testament becomes a rip-off book reduced to Matthew, Mark, John,
1&2 Peter, James, 1,2,3 John, Jude, and Revelation. But since these are
also written by Jews, and liars, decievers, blasphemers, they also must be
ripped out. What is left?
Well, the Law-Keepers do just about the same
thing. Now they have some new buddies who are taking their hate to the
maximum. What is it about the New Testament that Muslims fear? What is it they
want to destroy? Is this book the biggest danger to Islam? Greater danger than
even the Old Testament?
Is this why Muslims have made the Bible illegal in over 45 countries and to
give one to a Muslim could be the death penalty?
We have had many different religious groups want the New Testament
destroyed so that all is left is their religion and religious book. The Jews
did this first. Then came atheist and communist. And now a new breed
of Law-keeping Gentiles of all kinds of names want the Bible to contain
only the Old Testament. They do not see the need for Jesus and Calvary since
they can be saved by doing the works of the Law. Is this what the
Jewish Jesus had in mind? If he did, he did not convey it very well to his
Apostles. Because Matthew, John, Peter, James, and Jude sure did not disclose
it in their epistles.
Was the Apostle Paul the founder of Christianity as these are spreading in
their hate? Did the other Apostles reject Paul as a reprobate Jew who was
wrecking the Gospel of the Jewish Jesus? Was there anything about the Gospel
of Jesus that Paul preached that was not in line with the teachings of the
Jewish Jesus. One of the things I have observed in over 40 years of Ministry
is the different methods men use to attack and destroy Truth and the men of
God who preach it.
I got a revelation reading the history of Cortez
conquering Mexico. This Spaniard found some enemies of the great and
successful Montezuma. They hated his victories, his greatness in knowledge,
his abundant living, and his position as the supreme ruler. Making these
enemies his friends, Cortez
with only a handful of other Spaniard murderers was able to conquer the great
empire of the Aztecs. This bloody killer looking only for gold and success for
his name, destroyed and plundered the greatest government system in central
America. If the enemies of Montezuma had not helped Cortez
he would have failed and died there short of his goal to steal gold and take
it back to Spain and the Catholic church.
The same methods are used today to tear down and destroy. Find
a man's enemies, make them friends and join them to the war, and then go forth
to conquer and destroy. Find a few traitors and they will attack a Man
of God with the intent to utterly destroy. Such is the case of Muslims looking
for enemies of Christianity and the New Testament. Many atheist and
evolutionist are already sympathizers to the Islamic revolution against
Christianity. Law-Keepers and others also are joining
league to destroy the Apostle Paul and thus deceive many millions to convert
to Allah and Mohammed.
Noahide Laws
Well, many may convert but they must deny or depart from the salvation of
Jesus that was purchased on Calvary. The easy converts are atheist,
evolutionist, college and university professors, New Agers, Satanist and
Wiccans, Christ deniers, New Testament deniers, Church haters, Preacher
haters, and sinners who could care less what religion rules over them. These
millions will join league and laugh and drink themselves drunk for joy. They
will not care the rivers of blood that will be demanded of Christians. They
will love the day. The Hitler mentality is already born again and already
growing throughout the world. All they need is their Mahadi (Moshiach)
to appear and issue the order to kill and there will be rivers of blood all
over the world.
Paul they hate, and the Jesus of the Gospels they deny. He did not die on
the Cross. He was not resurrected. He was not the Son of God. He was not God. The
entire Gospel accounts are false. And they want Paul now to be disected and
quartered and dragged through the streets by destroying his epistles.
We will see them burning Bibles before long to show their protest.
The Jewish Jesus could have ignored Paul. After all he was a hired Pharisee
bounty-hunter. He had authority from the Temple cult to arrest, put in jail,
try, and put to death Christians. He did this until one day on the road out of
Israel into Syria. Paul was on his way to Damascus the capitol of Syria. On
this Gentile road in a Gentile land, Paul got a visitation from the Jewish
Jesus. He was on a Gentile road in a Gentile country chasing fleeing Jews to
arrest and bring back to Israel for trial and their deaths. But the Jewish
Jesus who could have smitten him down dead instead smote him with blindness
and rebuked him. Paul was bold when he had Jewish backing and Temple soldiers
with him to protect him. But they could not put up a shield thick enough to
keep God's light from hitting him in the face. There, the enemy of Calvary,
the Pharisee hypocrite, the bounty-hunter, trembled. He felt a fear he had
never encountered before. He knew he was a dead man if he did not the voice
with respect who said "Saul, Saul." "Who art thou Lord" he
cried in fear. And the Lord from heaven said: "I AM JESUS WHOM THOU PERSECUTETH."
The Jewish Jesus was not playing games. His selection of Paul as the
Apostle to the Gentiles is befitting the fact Jesus converted him in a Gentile
country chasing down Jews to put to death. He would reap what he was sowing.
But, the Jewish Jesus had plans for Paul. Paul's first journey after his
encounter with the Jewish Jesus was to go into Arabia. What was there that
would cause him to seek some answer from God? He sure did not go to Mecca
which was then the center of paganism and many idol gods. He did not go to
worship at the Kabba stone. The only possible answer other than he went on a
vacation, is that he went to Mt Sinai in Arabia, to seek God about his future.
Jews often made this spiritual trip to Arabia to encrease their devotion to
Moses, the Law, and to God. Where ever Paul went, he came back a changed man.
Jesus met him there and changed his life. What he learned in Arabia he said he
got from Jesus himself. He said he did not get it from man, but from the
Jewish Jesus. There is no other place Jesus and Paul could have had this
spiritual encounter except during his Arabia journey. No Apostle doubted him.
No not even Peter on his trips to Antioch. Not any of the Apostles in the
Jerusalem meetings in Acts 15 doubted him. Not even James the brother of Jesus
did. In fact, Paul was held in high esteem. He was the most intelligent Jewish
scholar of that time (not counting Jesus). Paul was the greatest Pharisee
scholar of his time. And if I may say so, the reason Muslims hate Paul, is
because his teachings and writings excell the Koran. Muslims believe the
writings of Paul oppose Islam and that is why they want his Epistles rejected
and destroyed.
This is one of the major reasons the New Testament is illegal in all
Islamic Republics and it is the death penalty to give one to a Muslim. It is
also the death penalty for any Muslim to believe Paul and become a Christian.
The Muslim who converts must die and the person who converts them must die.
The Jewish Jesus is on Paul's side on this. And we will see this in the
final wrap-up and at the great White Throne Judgment. All those who oppose
Paul better have a God who can make them a heaven, because the one I serve has
a place for them and I do not think they are going to like it.
There is much to be said in defense of the Apostle Paul. And where are the
Preachers standing up and preaching the Gospel and truths he preached? So,
when I hear from a so-called former Christian claiming he was converted to
Islam after it was proved the Bible was corrupted by Jews and that Paul was a
reprobate, I felt I should say something that I stand by the Apostle Paul and
believe he was greater than Mohammed and any other Iman Islam has ever
produced. All Christians must believe this or they are not Christians.
I say this because I believe it is true and I believe if it were not true
the Muslim extremist would not be trying to destroy the New Testament and Paul
with such anger and hatred even threating death. I perfectly understand their
anger and wanting to exalt their Prophet above the Apostles and the New
Testament. They can do this. That is their liberty and freedom of speech, but
likewise we can have our liberty to speak what we believe about Jesus and the
Apostle Paul.
In my opinion Jesus and Paul still stand as mountains over all other
religious leaders of the world and this include those within Islam. The Jewish
Jesus is Paul's God and Paul was not ashamed to call him Lord. This is one
name no Christian would ever dream to call Mohammed.
Not one real Christian would ever say Lord Mohammed like we say Lord Jesus.
Former - and probably future - Russian President Vladimir Putin with Chief
Rabbi Berel Lazar.
Was Vladimir Putin’s carefully choreographed plan to return to Russia's
presidency in 2012 a big blow to democracy or a victory for stability?
It all depends on who you ask.
Most Russian Jews, it seems, say that Putin's return after a four-year stint as
prime minister is good news for stability, and that's good
for the country’s Jewish community. Critics, however, say it’s a sign
of Russia’s stagnation.
Echoing traditional Jewish sensibilities, Yevgeniy Satanovsky, head of the
Institute for Israel and Near Eastern Studies, a think tank in Moscow, says that
Jews do not have to worry about Putin.
“Putin is neither an anti-Semite nor anti-Israel,” Satanovsky said.
For Russia’s Jews, whose estimated numbers range from 500,000 to 1 million,
Putin marked a departure from the anti-Semitism of past Communist elites and of
the once all-powerful KGB, which he served for nearly two decades.
Putin was the first Russian leader to visit Israel, where he attended an
official reception. He also visited a Moscow synagoguel, participated in
candle-lighting ceremonies on Chanukah and reportedly had an open door for one
of Russia’s two chief rabbis, Berel Lazar. (Chabad)
While human rights groups reported surges in xenophobic attacks at various times
during Putin’s presidency, Jews rarely were the targets.
Lazar said Putin should be credited for driving anti-Semitism out of Russian
political discourse.
Politicians in today’s Russia “would not risk taking anti-Semitic or a
so-called anti-Zionist stand,” Lazar said. “Any impartial observer should
acknowledge Putin’s big role in this.”
As president and prime minister, Lazar said, Putin “paid great attention to
the needs of our community and related to us with a deep respect.”
But the Putin regime also earned a reputation for intimidating political
opponents and journalists, and rolling back democratic reforms. As evidence,
critics say one need look no further than the way he has orchestrated his return
to power.
The announcement about the next stage of Putin’s rule over Russia came Sept.
24, when Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Putin’s handpicked successor to
the post, said he would not run in next year’s presidential election. Medvedev
then backed Putin’s return to the Kremlin. In return, Putin offered Medvedev
the prime minister’s chair in 2012.
Putin, the president from 2000 to 2008, was constitutionally barred from seeking
a third consecutive four-year term. The 2008 arrangement that made Putin the
prime minister for four years was widely seen as a sign that Putin would retain
control over the reins of power, and his intention to return to the presidency
confirms that thinking. With presidential terms extended to six years by
Medvedev — presumably with Putin in mind — Putin, who turns 59 this week,
could serve as Russia’s president until 2024.
His public approval rating is high and he isn’t expected to meet any
formidable political challenges.
Putin's popularity is explained largely by Russians' yearning for order and a
strong hand skillfully wielded by the Kremlin's political advisers. Over the
years of his rule, Putin effectively sidetracked any real opposition, put the
brakes on political dissent on national airwaves and turned Russia’s
Parliament — dominated by his United Russia party — into a virtual arm of
his regime.
so much for their Noahide Demonicrazy
Liberals find his plan to return to the presidency deeply disturbing.
“I’m honestly shaken by the impudence with which this was all done,”
Yevgeniya Albats, a prominent Russian Jewish journalist, told Echo Moskvy radio,
one of Russia’s few remaining liberal media outlets.
“We have witnessed how all institutions of the Russian Federation were torn
down — the constitution, the elections,” said Albats, the editor in chief of
The New Times weekly magazine in Moscow.
Critics blame Putin for dismantling many of the democratic achievements of his
predecessor, Boris Yeltsin; for failing to implement many substantial economic
and social reforms; for nurturing widespread corruption; and for creating a
system in which only those with ties to his clan can prosper.
Others argue that Putin’s return, no matter how it was orchestrated, is a fair
reflection of realities in today’s Russia.
“It may not be happening all nicely, but democracy is not built overnight,”
Satanovsky said. “Putin is coming back to power as a real leader of a large
political and economic clan. Can it change soon? I don’t see how.”
The early years of Putin’s presidency were marked by Kremlin pressure against
Russia’s oligarchs — the once politically influential Russian business
tycoons, many of whom were Jews. But in recent
years, most leading business figures in Russia have withdrawn from political
life, marking a victory for the Kremlin.
Despite the fact that many of those oligarchs were Jewish, Satanovsky notes that
Putin never let his political, business and even personal battles “translate
into anything anti-Jewish.”
While the Putin era has not been good for democracy in Russia, Jewish life in
the country has continued to thrive. Thousands of parents send their children to
Jewish schools and camps, and new synagogues and community centers are being
added every year. There even are new museums opening in Moscow.
Despite these gains under Putin and his loyal successor Medevedev, a sense of
unease left over from the olden days persists among many Jewish community
leaders, who declined speak on the record with JTA about the perils of Putin’s
cavalier approach toward democracy.
“There is a certain frustration in the society,” said one Jewish leader who
asked that his name not to be used. “But the revolution is nowhere near. There
is no democracy, and life goes on.”
Romans 10:4:
For Christ is the end

5: For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man
which doeth those things shall live by them.
6: But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise,
Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ

8: But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy
heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

16: But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath

17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

19: But I say,
Did not Israel know?
First Moses saith, I will provoke you to

20: But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that
