International Terrorism

Introduction
Although many of the framers of the American Constitution were not devout,
their political mentality was shaped in universities whose curriculum was
based very much on Jewish ideas. Accordingly, this essay will be divided into
three parts. The first part will show how Judaism, in particular the Five
Books of Moses, influenced higher education in 17th and 18th century America.
The second part will examine the institutions prescribed in the
American Constitution and show their roots in Jewish laws and
principles. The third part will consider how America
needs to return to its Jewish roots in the war against international
terrorism.

Why didn't the Rebbe
ever visit Israel?
There are several possible reasons; some of them
were voiced by the Rebbe himself in private on various occasions.

would have been compelled to stay there, something which he did not want to do

will Debate: Will Animal Sacrifice be Allowed in the Next Temple that
will be Built in Jerusalem?

However, not all rabbis agree on what would happen in a rebuilt Temple.
It has traditionally been assumed that some sort of animal sacrifices
would be reinstituted, in accord with the rules in Leviticus and the
Talmud. However there is another opinion, beginning with Maimonides,
that God deliberately has moved Jews away from sacrifices towards
prayer, as prayer is a higher form of worship. Thus, some rabbis hold
that sacrifices would not take place in a rebuilt Temple. Rabbi
Abraham Isaac Kook, the first chief rabbi
of the Jewish community in pre-state Israel, taught that sacrifices will
not be reinstituted.
According to the seer the prophet of old the rabbi's
on the Sanhedrin
that has just been reestablished in October of 2004 will vote sometime
in the future whether or not animal sacrifices will be done in the next
Temple to be built in Jerusalem.
The scriptures say the vote will be around 24 against and about 47
for. So Daniel's other specific dates of prophecy will be fulfilled. So
according to scripture the Temple worship in Jerusalem will also
definately include the historic type of worship the Lord God with his
Levitical commandments and rituals including the daily animal sacrifice.
Now of course you do not totally believe in scripture then you will have
to wait and see. |
