The Interpreter's Bible Dictionary continues and says;
A word once uttered, takes on a life of it's own, beyond the control of the
speaker, and achieves it's effect, by a kind of innate power. When Isaac had
been tricked into blessing Jacob instead of Esau, he could not cancel the
blessing. This is recorded in Genesis chapter 32 verses 27 through 38.The words that come from the mouth of God, according to Isaiah, are filled
with power and wisdom. Power should be attributed to God's Word, but it is also
attributed to the words of men, particularly to blessings, and curses. Words
still possess in Hebrew thought the quality of a magic spell.
Blessings, cursings, and words of good and bad omen, thus had a power which
was something more than that producing a psychological effect on those who heard
them. They were believed to influence the courses of events. This comes out in
the stories of Balaam and Balaak. Recorded in Numbers chapter 22, through 24.
The WORD OF LIFE that is enclosed and written inside the DNA of all life on
earth is GOD'S WORD OF LIFE. GOD'S WORD is spiritual and has unseen power. The
COSMIC FORCES that Geneticists say command the very life forces in a cell, is
GOD'S WORD OF LIFE written inside the DNA of all living cells. Scientists say
that this Genetic Code is the "GENETIC CODE OF LIFE." All living cells
are really a written prophecy, which will come to pass given the right
environment etc.
The Word of God says of this Word of Life;
Jn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and
truth.

seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of

According to these Scriptures, JESUS IS THE WORD OF LIFE." The Bible
says that he was there "in the beginning" at the time of creation.

flesh is not what brings forth life; he said that IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT GIVES
LIFE TO ALL FLESH. Jesus then expounded on what he meant when he said " THE
WORDS THAT I SPEAK, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE." Jesus is called in
the Bible, THE WORD OF LIFE. Jesus said the WORDS THAT HE SPEAKS, ARE SPIRIT.
Jesus said that HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT, AND THE SPIRIT OF HIS WORDS IS WHAT BRINGS
FORTH ALL LIFE.

nothing (the flesh is not what gives life):

Then Jesus said in the same verse;He also said that the flesh, which comes from the dust of the earth is not
what makes life.

Here Jesus said that THE WORDS THAT HE SPEAKS ARE SPIRT, AND LIFE.
